Just make sure you are at safe sound levels, otherwise you'll blow your speakers. Brilliant device.

From the picture it's a Behringer UCG102 which usually sells for £30-£35 (+postage if you buy online). More a case of maplins pre-sale price being ridiculous.

Could I use this on a Bass guitar?

£39 delivered - http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/shop/view_product.php?product=behucg102 - irrelevent as sold out!

~£40 delivered - http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=ST00641 well £40.98 delivered which is 99p more than the one I posted.

£33 + postage - http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop/flypage/product_id/28048 yeah - £6.99 postage making it the same cost!

You can have the other three - no point in posting if they're either more expensive or not in stock!

Exactly, the point I was making is that this is the STANDARD price for the item. ~£40 delivered is how much it costs pretty much everywhere. That means it isn't a hotdeal, just maplins going from being exorbitantly overpriced to normal price.

no point in posting if they're either more expensive or not in stock!

see above.

There is also the fact that people can go and pick it up from at least 3 of those webstores if they are local for ~£33, saving them £7 on the Maplin price.

Or You could use one of these instead and save some dollar

Maybe you should post this deal where it is cheaper and in stock instead of just arguing on this post,?.

Why would I post it when it's the standard price? This is HOTUKdeals, not "standard uk prices". If I knew anywhere that had it for a bargain price I would post it - as it is £40 delivered is what I'd expect to pay.

And I DID post above, at least 3 sites where it is in stock, and cheaper.

And a lot of guitarists probably didn't know this existed so to them it would be a hot deal ..

Good point - I've never seen this product before and thought it would be of interest to others. If you (Deleted User Name 3) thought it was better elsewhere, why didn't you submit it first???

Are you not reading what I'm saying?

I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER ELSEWHERE!!!! IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME PRICE AS EVERYWHERE ELSE.

Do I need to make the text any bigger for you to understand? It's NORMAL price, not higher, not lower!

What a mess HUKD would be if everyone posted things that were being sold for the RRP/Average high street price.

What happed to Musicians Love......?

Lets just all get our Axe's out and get along ;)

but on a personal note i just use a lead from my amp and a connection addaptor to go straight into the sound card input hole ( £2.99 ) :)

but if you aint got Amp output / Pc Imput / Amp / Guitar Leads / Or a Guitar ( ok not this one ) then its good to get one :)

Regardless of the price of other sites, surely it's still a good deal if ANY of these are posted? I haven't found a USB guitar adaptor like this anywhere else which also comes with all the software required (on all OSs too incl. OS X) and I'm guessing neither have a lot of people.

And don't use large text - there really is no need to be childish.
