USB Laptop cooler for only £1.00 @ PoundLand

Good Morning All.
I was in Poundland (Basildon store) yesterday and saw this very nice laptop stand with features a built in cooler and blue LED light which is powered by just one USB port on your Laptop.
I bought two and use the other one for my PlayStation 3 Slim. They look so cool (no pun intended)

For just 1 quid you CAN'T go wrong. I just wish I bought more as spares now.

Been around various poundland stores for a while, stock seems to come and go. Probably worth a quid, but the fan will be of little help to anyone with real heat issues as it tends to be smack in the centre of the tray, and most vents do not line up with it. Still a good way to get (a little) airflow around your machine though.

Worth noting these are small, notebook coolers, not for larger laptops. As the OP says though, good for standing your consoles on. :)

Heated none the less. Useful for some.

Thanks for the heat. The fan does a good job of keeping the bottom of your laptop/notebook/console cool though, which helps keep the inside slightly cooler as well.

Also, it's really quiet as well. So it's all good :)

Yep, the fan is actually pretty good. Really small and suitable for netbooks as has been stated.

One word of warning though - the fan is not protected as my missus' finger discovered the first time she used it.

Good deal, but not a laptop cooler, this is very small, a notebook cooler at best really.

Also its been in poundland for at least 9months! A quick seach and you will see its already been posted on here at least 3 times before!

would this be good to put under an xbox 360 to stop it from overheating?

It could help, but the 360 case is slightly curved. So it would be hard to place this stand underneath a surface that isn't flat.

It's won't be too big mate. I have a laptop that isn't small and it sits beneath it fine :D

Ive used one, its ok for upto 15" laptops if u sit it centrally, anything bigger gets a bit wobbly! I use them in my computer repair shop, it helps cooling by lifting the laptop off the surface in the first place, and of course the fan cools the warm air.
Dont expect something like your decent coolermaster, but it does the job.
Useful for me for a Quid.

Better than the rubbish SIGNALEX cables and Card Readers!

Yes... If you have a USB port in your belly button.

I bought one of these a couple of months back and been really pleased with how its kept my netbook cool. Ive been trying to get a few games going on the little thing and overclocking the graphics is safer with one of these things sat under the netbook.

ive got two under a 15" dell and it works fantastically!!
#27
I purchased one of these awhile back, absolutely perfect size for my 13.3" laptop.

Lol, sadly not, the fan isn't enclosed on the back which could possibly result in a rather embarassing trip to A&E :p
