the reason the software is unsuitable slot loading CD/DVD drives is because its one of those small 3" discs, and also theres nothing that the so called "sim reader" can do that your standard phone software cant do !

its a gimmic to sell it, but its useless and a big waste of time, its just a card reader really !

good post tho 8)

I was looking for something like this - two issues though.

1. Does anyone know if it will identify the sims own number?
2. Does anyone know if Linux supports it?

Heat anyway.

It's ok I guess, I've had one for about a year and it's hit and miss on if it will work or not. Found some types of SD Card quite touchy with it too, the write-lock tabs can sometimes pushed up to the lock position when they're inserted... It's great for MicroSD though.
