Just found out that Nintendo will be offering free copies of Little King's Story in exchange for 5000 stars. Stars are obtained for free when purchasing games and consoles from Nintendo and this scheme has been running for a number of years now so people will likely have a big stockpile.

This is meant to be one of the best games on Wii and I was looking around for a good price and came up with this amazing offer. Unfortunately I have spent most of mine on other deals, but I might fish through my games to see if I have enough unused cards to get this little beauty. It's listed as coming soon so you have a little time to register and get your points uploaded if you intend to do the same. You can get 1250 stars just for registering apparently.....!

Create a majestical realm in this stunning strategy/role playing game from Rising Star Games for Wii! Construct buildings, dig for treasure and lead your soldiers on quests to conquer new lands. Full of hilarity and fun, this is one king-sized title you don't want to miss!

Just wondering can you register the same game twice (if you have 2 copies)?

Well I'm willing to trade my codes for ones I don't have. Also don't suppose gamecube/gba ones still work cause I still have quite a few of those left as well.

I think they do, I used mine about a year ago so it's worth a try I'd have thought

You might be mistaking a letter or number (i.e. O & 0). Try different combinations.

Nintendo stars don't stretch far. I've got a lifetime of them (GC, DS, DS Lite, Wii, DSi +Games) and I only have 4750!
#15
A) I don't really agree with Nintendo Star Point deals
B) GC and GBA points should work fine. At least they did last year when I bought a few second-hand which still had the vouchers in.
C) A lifetime of those systems yet only 4750 points? Somewhat surprised by that. I believe the systems themselves give up to 500 points each. Unless you've used some on VC games. Oh well, buy a couple more, or see point (D)
D) Extra Star Points can be gained by completing surveys. Go to club-nintendo.com and view your account. Then click on "Systems and Games" on the left menu (I believe that's what it's called) and scan the list to see if they're offering 50 points for completing any surveys. This list includes VC and WiiWare games too, so you should be able to get to the 5000 points mark.

I don't see a problem with Star Points deals (obviously or I wouldn't have posted it :whistling: ) The thing is it's effectively something for nothing. With publishers trying to fleece us by charging for extra downloadable content left right and centre it's nice for Nintendo to be giving something back.

It's kind of like Tesco Clubcard, Nectar etc al. You wouldn't buy something just for the points, but when you do buy things they eventually add up and this is probably one of the best offers that they have had so far. :)

hi all

this game went on the stars site about 10-14 days ago and sold out very quickly (didnt get one as i didnt have enough stars).

re registering games club nintendo changed the rules earlier in the year, you used to be able to register as many as you wanted, you could also register more than 1 console (missus used to wheel & deal gameboy stuff on fleebay & we kept all the stars). since a couple months ago you can only register one of each game and 1 of each console. AND you can no longer register gamecube or GBA games they sent a club email telling everyone they would do this and then voided all the coded at the end of april. Boo.

anyway this game is a great deal if it becomes available again.

Rubbish - Im in a house where we have a Wii that we all use and we all have a DS - that's getting on for £600 of kit and i can only claim the stars on £300 of it? What a con :x

Taken from FAQ page on Nintendo.co.uk:
[Q] Which products can I register?
[A] You can register both Nintendo hardware and software published or distributed by Nintendo.

Hardware: Wii, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DS, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Micro, Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Player, DK Bongos.

[Q] Can I register games or systems that were purchased used?
[A] Yes, you can register used Nintendo products as long as:

-The product is eligible for registration
-You have the PIN number, which was included on a separate piece of paper in the packaging when the product was new
-The PIN number for that product has not already been registered

[Q] When do product registration cards expire?
[A] Registration cards for Nintendo games expire three and a half years after the product first becomes available at retail.

[Q] Can I still register Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance games?
[A] After 22 March 2009, only a small number of Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance games can still be registered. Check the list below to see the remaining titles that have valid product registration cards, and the date on which those cards will expire.

Odama (GameCube) - 31 March
Tales of Phantasia (Game Boy Advance) - 31 March
Polarium Advance (Game Boy Advance) - 7 April
Chibi-Robo! (GameCube) - 26 May
Final Fantasy IV (Game Boy Advance) – 2 June
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (Game Boy Advance) – 10 November
Naruto: Clash of Ninja European Version (GameCube) – 24 November
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube) – 15 December

I can't find any mention of 'System' registration cards expiring, or any problem with registering multiple products in the same category (I have a DS,DS Lite and DSi).
Is there anyone out there with more than one of the same model of DS that can verify?

I have registered 2 ds lites, 1 dsi and a wii but you can only register one of each software title. Got wii play with our wii and then bought a 2nd copy when zavvi had them at £18.74 and tried to register that code. Got a message that said this game had already been registered with them so even though it recognised the code it wouldn't let me have the points.

This line is quite worrying. A game like Super Mario 64 DS still retails for £29.99 and it was released March 11th 2005.

sorry dblake what meant to say was that you can register 1 of each type of console so 1 wii 1 DS 1 DS lite 1 DSi etc, though you used to be able to register loads of different gameboy sps by chosing a diffent colour or design each time lol(ie pink, blue, tribal nes version etc), so they may do this still on the ds lites as well but i dont know..

Can I save this game onto a sd card?. If yes how and what size do I need?.

Price has gone back up now :(
