But I thought everyone's HD DVD players suddenly stopped working when HD DVD died?

Mine hasn't anyway, ordered.

the only 2 blurays ive seen lately were on play.com - beowulf and grendel and shakira live. dont think either are good value though.

as for not spending over £2 on a hd-dvd - with that attitude you wont get many more, if you have 130 hd-dvds then your getting to the point where the only way to get new hd-dvds is paying around £4. if its a hidef movie and its not available on bluray, whats the problem?

i have 155 hd-dvds now and my blurays are down to 60 but thats because ive just sold a boatload. if an hd-dvd is £4 thats my highest price, but that is for harder to find ones or US imports. Most ive ever paid for a HD-DVD though is £4.50 for Being John Malkovich on ebay, and also £10 from america for Planet Earth Complete Series, but thats a bargain for sure.

in his defence i have 11 blu-rays and the most expensive ones were only £5.30,

run fat boy run and a few others have been as low as £3, amazon had about 9 at £7.93 on their 3 for 2 (so £5.30 ish), the hut had a few at a fiver, the cd-wow starship troopers trilogy for £3, the deals do pop up from time to time... just not always for films you want to watch haha
