Can't begin to tell you how awesome these films are.

When a prehistoric horse is captured, a group of adventurers decide to travel to it's home in Mexico's Forbidden Valley in search of other specimens for their circus.

They brave a host of winged and fanged monsters to find and snare a living dinosaur, a savage killer. They soon have it on display, but when the beast escapes from its cage to wreak bloody revenge on its captors the scene is set for a fiery showdown!

The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
http://images.play.com/covers/143752m.jpg
An atomic bomb tested in the Arctic frees a gigantic dinosaur from the icy tomb that has encased it for 100 million years. An ice fall kills all witnesses except one, Professor Tom Nesbitt (Paul Hubschmid) who returns to New York with the fantastic story. No one will believe his tale, but the truth is revealed when the beast emerges from the ocean and lays waste to Manhattan! Can the Professor come up with a plan to save the city before it's too late?

Harryhausen is a Legend. Both these films are great. Particularly The Beast from 20,000 .Plenty of monster roaming round the city smashing up buildings. My signed RH book is one of my treasured possesions.

Very strange - was only thinking about Valley of the wotsits a couple of days ago. Remember catching half of it as a kid and thinking it was cool but never saw it on TV again. Now I get the whole thing!

Many thanks Mr Wedge.

Heat from me.
