I bought this last night but had to pick up from the Harlow store as it was OOS online. Back in stock today and after getting it out last night, I'm very pleased.

It's a great deal. This is no cheaper than £90+ anywhere, even on fleabay its £100 inc delivery! So you could even get a couple just to make some easy profit!

As it says on the website:

A more practical choice for a pop-up tent, the Swift 300 comfortably sleeps three people, with a spacious porch/storage area at front but keeping the convenience and ease of instant pitching and simple packing away.

The taped seams and Protex 200 polyester outer ensure you stay dry in a storm, yet the breathable pre-attached inner with mesh vent and lantern hanging point keeps your sleeping area comfortable. Inner storage pockets will help you keep it organized.

Reflective webbing and zip-pullers mean you can find your tent at night or on a crowded site.

The heavy-duty polesleeves distribute tension evenly, making the tent sturdy and stable. The fabrics are fire-retardant to reduce the possibility of mishaps with naked flames.

The whole thing packs away easily into a circular carry bag with shoulder straps to get you on your way in no time.

I know some people struggle with the prospect of packing up these pop-up tents, so to help, you can even download a PDF on how to erect and put away your tent from here...

In comparison to all other 3/4 man pop-up tents out there, its pretty spacious and much cheaper. Vango is good make aswell, I've been comparing this against similar Quecha's, Gelert's, Eurohike, Outwell and Hi-Gear and nothing really got close for what I needed. Closest was the Gelert Twister 3 but I couldn't find it much cheaper than around the £80 mark delivered.

Personally I'd recommend the Quechua.

Only problem is you can only get them from Decathlon stores and not too many stores around. www.decathlon.co.uk

Seems others would recommend Quechua 3 second tent over the Vango Swift 300 too.

Main problem I understand is putting the Vango back down, and also waterproofing isnt as good as the Quechua range.

Good price for the Vango though if you're after one!

I was tempted but unless you go for the Quecha 2 seconds III XL, you wont get a porch, and the living area is only as big, if not smaller than the Vango. On top of that, The Quecha 2 seconds III XL is around the £100 mark, this Vango is £59.99!!!

I hope the waterproofing is of a decent standard on my Vango though!!!! Has anyone used one in a storm recently??

Quechua 2 second XL 3 are only £69.95, not £100 - only an extra £10 !

Would be good t0mW to hear how you get on with your new tent. Hope you enjoy it, I'm sure it will be fine in wet weather, Vango are a good make so dont for see any problems under normal conditions. Personally I'd say the Vango is a good price, get it if you want one. I'd still say the Quechua (note the spelling! - its not Quecha BTW) has a quality and design edge. OK you might not get quite as much in some areas but they're high quality tents.

Keep us posted on how you get on with putting it down please, and any weatherproofing problems. Cheers.

I will let you know. I had a Quechua 2 seconds III (without the 'XL' bit) last year and it was ideal, but just for me (at 6' 6" I just about managed to fit in diagonally!!)

This year I'm going to a festival with my girlfriend so I thought the extra porch space would be good for storing our stuff. So I guess I'm in a good position to compare.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that Decathlon offer. Thats seriously the first time I've seen the XL that cheap.
