Hopefully im not double posting with my first post but I was in my local Toys R Us last night and noticed that a good majority of the Blu Rays they had were going very cheaply.

From Memory they were;

Spiderman 3 - £9.99
Sword Fish - £7.99
Black Hawk Down - £9.99
Stealth - £9.99
Blood Diamond - £9.99
Ice Age 2 - £9.99
Lady In The Water - £7.99
The Lake House - £7.99
XXX - £9.99
Layer Cake - £9.99
Resident Evil Extinction - £9.99
Tears Of The Sun - £9.99
Hitch - £9.99

Im trying to think of the others but my mind has gone blank... Should have written them all down really.

You might find your local store has some different ones and there are a few more I have missed off of that list that might be of interest. My advice to to pop along to your local Toys R Us and see what they have got.

I have previously bought others there for £9.99 so its always worth checking. I can't find any of the ones I have cheaper online, so its definitely the best place to get your Blu Rays at the minute...

Good post, but been done before. They've also been this price for a good 3 months or more. :)

The link you provided was really only for the lesser movies. The fact that they have only just started selling Spider Man 3, Black Hawk Down, Ice Age 2 etc etc in the deal surely makes it a decent one.

I thought it would be better to post them together rather than try and get hotness singuarly but if you think putting Spider Man 3 for £9.99 etc seperately would be better I could always do that???

wasn;t it www.dvd.co.uk that did 2 of these titles for £18 delivered + quidco?

Ice Age 2 was always in the deal. Black Hawk Down and Spider Man 3 are available for just under £9.99 online from other retailers, so not really worth posting separately I wouldn't have said. :)

Just so I am aware (as Im pretty new to this site). From the comments I am getting it seems that if something can be had (or used to be available) for the same price or lower, its not worth posting a deal like I have done?

Likewise, rather than state all products on offer... would I have been better off not being so comprehensive and just listing a coupe and let people figure out for themselves that others are on offer when they get there?

Sorry to sound simple but just wanna clarify so I don't make the same mistake in the future...

Even if the prices are the same on the web and you have a store near you at least you do not have to wait for delivery.I recently ordered from DVD.co.uk and it took a week to get here.
I went to the local Toys R Us last night - they only had a few titles left(non that I wanted) and when I asked a member of staff when any more would be available, he replied he doubted it as they did not sell many Blu Ray and would probably not be stocking any at all in the future.

Luckily I have quite a new Toys R Us store near me and its pretty big, yet seems to be neglected somewhat by the public, so they had a ton of cheap Blu Ray's to choose from. I guess its a bit hit and miss though as you say, which is always the risk of in store deals.

Im one of those impulsive buyers too in that I really find it hard to wait days and days for something, so always try and get it cheaper in store first and online only if necessary.

A week for a DVD to be delivered sounds a bit long though as from what I understand Royal Mail / your Post Man would deliver those types of items, so perhaps they dragged their heels a bit sending it in the first place?

It does say on their website to be fair that some DVD's come fromSwitzerland,so if that is the case a week is pretty good. There is another store close to me so may try that one - can you think of any other titles that were on offer?

Yeah, perhaps if your passing it might be worth it as this was most definitely a nationwide offer.

Previously I have bought Superman Returns for - £9.99

They had a few more there at my local branch but for around the £12.99 price (which is still cheaper than most places).

I will most likely pop in there again at some stage, so will make a note of exactly what they have at what prices and post back with my findings.

It's always useful to check sites such as http://www.find-dvd.co.uk - they will give you an idea of how much titles are going for online. Most, if not all, of the Toys R Us titles are available for the same or slightly less online from other places. The £7.99 ones are better, but they have been posted before.

That's where the Advanced Search facility comes in handy on here - it only takes 30 seconds or so to do a pretty decent search to see if something has been posted before. I know people criticise the search facility, but that's generally because they don't know how to use it properly - just takes a little time. :)
