Blurays. £4.95. Zavvi. Free P&P. Quidco. Some good titles amongst them..

Titles are as followed:

Stargate Special Edition
The Pianist
Orphan
Whiteout
Cliffhanger
Hang On
Shaolin Soccer
Wolf Creek
Leap Year
Basic Instinct
Universal Soldier Regeneration
Near Dark
Score
Hush
Donkey Punch
Bunny and the Bull
Rambo III
Interceptor
Awaydays
Jack Said
Grifters
Welcome to the Jungle
My Blueberry Nights
Somers Town

I would personally reccommend The Pianist and Orphan. I'm not familiar with some of the titles, so if people could advise on some good ones!

Enjoy.

They should all be posted in one thread as glasspassenger has done. For that alone he deserves some heat and rep.

I kinda feel like buying all their stock so they can sell different titles cheap for a change.

I know what you mean, nice prices, same old titles :)

next week it will be sendit or one of the others to sell the same titles just Zavvis turn
#8
Nothing I fancy, personally, but voted hot as there's some reasonable films there for about four quid (if you remember to use your 15% codes).
#9
Stargate Special Edition
Hot Thanks

Yeh it should be called same old monday or monotonous monday now as they haven't changed the sale items forever. Having said that I remember a few weeks ago seeing a film called Zombies Big t!ts, I swear, containing one of my favourite japanese actresses shall we say. I was tempted to post on here for the title alone but would have probably got banned

ive seen Hannibal Lecter Trilogy on blu-ray at Zavvi for £17.95
films: Red Dragon, The Silence Of The Lambs, Hannibal
its cheaper than elsewhere by far. AND thats before using a 15% discount code.

Pianist is worth £5 of anybody's money, the film is one of the greatest WWII films commuted to celluloid & directed by Polanski who actually spent time in one of the Ghettos. Absolutely amazing film, despite Polanski being a filthy perv.....

dont be fooled by mega monday. they are always this price. guarentee they will all be the same price on tuesday
#14
Somers Town made me smile
#15
Orphan is worth getting for a fiver
#16
pls can you tell me if the 15% code still work
as i have on
but it is not accepting it
thnks

All the ones worth owning, I own. But deff good deal.

if there DVDs are anything like their CDs i dont think i would bother...unless you like scratches on your DVDs.
from my experience not the best company, but not the worst either.
#19
How do you get scratches on new items ? I had loads from zavvi with no problems ?
#20
@condemmedman maybe staff have played the disc thats one way.. or its just shop soiled stock e.g. customer returns..so still new but new doesnt necessary mean mint condition.
#21
Mega Monday is dreadful at Zavvi. I remember when it first started they'd pick 2 or 3 products and put a genuine deal on them - now they just group a bunch of products that are already on offer together and call it Mega Monday (even though you can actually buy them on Sunday, and generally anytime after Monday anyway!)
#22
@callum9999 i agree. i used to buy a few CDs on the mega monday now i rarely bother. their prices aren't that competive.

You're an idiot.

@No1Mugster why does sharing my shopping experience make me an idiot? isn't that the idea?
i'm well qualified to make the statement above and i stand by it.
#25
@northerngeek

If you received a CD with scratches it's not the retailers fault, they don't manufacture the products they sell. If I followed your logic I'd have run out of online retailers to use by now, because I've just about had a bad experience with all of them. I even received a sealed I, Robot Bluray from Play.com with no disc, but I wouldn't recommend not to use them because I know it's down to the distributor not the retailer. But go ahead, stand by your idiotic statement.

Fight! Fight!

@No1Mugster if i followed your logic then all retailers would have the same rate of faulty products as they are all sourced from the same manufacturer right?
i posted on another thread about this. basically some retailers will sell on shop soiled stock, returned items etc. get the idea? technically new but not in mint condition.
