Saw this today in the store I work in.

Three Varieties for £1 and one for £1.99

Car plan Eco Car Body Shampoo £1
Car plan Eco Car Wheel Cleaner £1
Car plan Eco Car Glass Cleaner £1
Car plan Eco Car Polish £1.99

All 500ml, the wheel and glass cleaner are both trigger sprays.

Checked the retail history on them and they started at RRP £6.49 and they have been hovering around £3-4 last half a year.

Think we are clearing out stock of it for the spring stock changes.

Proof in next post.

The water we drink in SE has been through many people already apparently but the real problem is detergents, chemicals & other nasties. h & r

Seems a bargain when you check out this pricing  http://www.redexpress.co.uk/store/c167/1-11-167/Home/Car-Care-Products/CarPlan-Eco-Car/details.aspx

Mind you, I've never heard of it, but surely can't be that bad

Edit

Proof wasn't needed as it's online as well

Then go online and do reserve and collect...

I teach sustainability and the environmental concerns in school so the idea of eco friendly products is great. Unfortunately this is rubbish and didn't dislodge dirt let alone brake dust. Sometimes you just need nasty chemicals

could make a nice present for a green type
buy one of each to make a set and wrap them up nice :)

The greenest way to wash the car is not to bother isn't it? Failing that what is up with a little fairy and some elbow grease?

spot on. although I believe fairy (other washing products are available), can damage the paintwork.

oh nooooooooo

dont use fairy unless you really dont care about your paintwork...

Doesn't the fairy or other get washed off when you have finished? And I have heard this sort of thing before years ago. Cars don't rust anymore do they, new cars?

Seems like one of those rumours perpertuated by makes of T-Cut etc.

Cancel that! Just had a quick read via Google.

Using washing up liquid will speed up corrosion in any paint work.

as for t-cut, be carful when using that stuff too!

They have got them!!! I bought some Wheel Cleaner but I am after the Glass Cleaner, do you think it will be roughly as good as Autoglym Fast Glass?

many thanks to the OP, I just picked up a set including wheel cleaner, dash cleaner, shampoo & polish for under a fiver. couldn't find the glass cleaner, but I'm totally happy with what I got.

getting around to actually cleaning the car is a different matter!
#17
Well I wanted to get Glass Cleaner and Dash Cleaner but I went to 3 stores and out of the 3 only 1 had the products at the discounted price, so If your store does have them reduced and still has some left please state your store. :-)
#18
why not just reserve them online & collect, instead of faffing around going from store to store?

The process was surprisingly good. The halfords website lists each product & which of your local stores has it in stock. If you reserve & collect, you are charged the web price. easy!

Cheers have ordered 2 shampoo, 2 wheel cleaners and 1 dashboard cleaner

My store only has the shampoo, glass cleaner, wheel cleaner and polish. has never had dash or odour eliminator so i suspect it will be like that in other smaller stores.

All stores should have the same price as it is all set by head office and is probably just not marked up right in other stores, teh products are obsolete now so they are just getting rid of them for spring/summer stock, I suspect will be the higher priced turtle wax and eco clean things which i have never seen bought.

Just reserve and collect if you have doubts though, I've added the link to OP.

But get there quick they are selling liek hot cakes at my store :D
