If you want to spalsh out on a more powerful battery than what the Poundshop offer. i.e. do you want your kids new toys to last till Boxing Day before you need to replace the batteries, then this looks a pretty good deal.

They have loads of different batteries eg 9V;AA;AAA in various pack sizes; all buy one get one free.

If they don't have any instore then you can have them delivered to your local Wilkinsons for collection for free.

Good tip but I've juar followed abother link someone posted for MandM for an 8 pack of duracel extra for £1.98 delivered using their code for 10% off and free delivery.

Asda are selling two packs of duracell plus for £5 (16 batteries in total)

Better deal on these at Argos - they have both the AA and AAA carded with 4+free4 for £3.19.

However reserve via Quidco to collect in store and get £1 back.

And I think this is a general offer - certainly Nectar have mentioned it to me twice now - if you're a NECTAR card holder and havent got around to redeeming £2.50+ in Argos by 31/12, you can do so on these batteries ie redeem £2.50 or £5.00 (and get change) on your Nectar card and that entitles you to a 500 point ie £2.50 credit to your Nectar a/c at end of January. [Thats how I remember the Nectar deal anyway.] so £3.19 - £1 - £2.50 = gain and 8 good batteries :)
