I am hopefully going to a shopping mall this week - which has a Works store there.

I will keep a look out for all of these - I will most likely pick one or two of them. I love Batman.

Heat added.

This is the first time I am going to The Works Store

Thanks for adding the pic, was in a but of a rush earlier and didn't have time to add one. They must have just had these in as they didn't have them last week. I know cos my daughter is mad on graphic novels (especially Batman) so I have been looking out for them as its her birthday next week. Dropped lucky on these really, a good selection and at the right price

I'll be heading down there tomorrow in Torquay, they might not have em, but they might do!

if V for Vendetta is £5, I may go insane, and I want all of the novels you listed as examples

When I go this week to the shopping mall which has the work - I will make a list of what they had so people know.

Killing joke sounds good, doubt it will be £2.99? BTW if you like the Batman comics then you'll love the new Arkham Asylum game.

HI there ive been ringing some local stores and they havent had any in yet (solihull & acocks green) The guy at acocks green was really helpful and said that if i could get the barcode from one of the books he could search for me and see where there is any stock. The barcode will be a works only barcode should be a sticker over the top of each original barcode so if anyone manages to get some of these books could they please let us know one of the codes.

cheers

They also had a couple of Watchmen film tie-in books, if I remember right they were Watchmen: Film Companion and Watchmen: Art of the film but I can't remember the prices.

Thats strange. I've been in a few Works stores locally (like Bham,Telford etc) and they always seem to have the same or similar stock in so it seems odd that they told you that. It would be unusual if Wolverhampton only got these but I hope some of the other shops get these so other people get the chance to buy them at a good price as the rrp in places like Waterstones are frankley ridiculous.

I rang the birmingham store and they said they didnt have any graphic novels in but had some comic packs in ( i think a selection of 10 comics)
#23
