Someone posted Tesco doing half price Xmas lights but all the best ones where sold out but Amazon has a less than half price on there LED lights of various counts and in lots of colours ive just bought 120 blue LED lights for A tenner which is cheaper than Tesco if Tesco had stock and that's delivered and sold by Amazon so if they break your sorted.

Prices where £6 for 40 and up to a tenner for 120.

try this link HUKD's is playing up with the link.

Gone for a set. Thanks :)

Good price for UK. I bought 5 x 100 LED multifunction lights last year on ebay from hongkong i think they were about £5 each set.

I still dont understand why they cost so much over here. Good price though.

The same with LED lighting, they can't possibly be that expensive to manufacture!

Heat.

Nope, they aren't, but you are paying for development costs - they are quite difficult to keep cool,..

Good find on Amazon btw and I'm cool with Christmas or Xmas, so long as we are all happy.

I always feel embarrassed for people who come out with this, as they are only showing the limits of their own ignorance.

Some people object to spelling the word Christmas as "xmas". It is a commercial-friendly notation for what is supposed to be a Christian holiday. Our friend was simply implying that he would prefer the word to be spelt correctly.

As for calling him/her thick, you sound an even bigger idiot yourself. Also, you need to work on your punctuation. Idiot.

Well you must be an even bigger idiot for defending one of the biggest idiots on HUKD (myself not included).

You clearly don't understand the origins of the 'X' in Xmas (it has nothing to do with commercialism, as many paranoid and tetchy Christians would have you believe). Go and educate yourself rather than attacking people who clearly know more about the subject than you.

B&Q have some cheap sets for sale.
We brought 120 multifuction ones over the weekend and paid under £13, homebase were more expensive for 80 static ones.

Well you must be an even bigger idiot for defending a bigger idiot who was criticising a smaller idiot who was then defended by a smaller idiot who then criticised a bigger idiot who was an idiot. Idiot…

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience

I am going to buy five sets of lights in order to strangle five progressively larger idiots and hang them outside my house as a warning.

I hate you all Merry Xmas.

(Look I even included bad punctuation

Ouch, is it just me or are these still expensive? I managed to get 120 outdoor led lights from Argos last year for £2.99! And that was before XMAS...

I remember almost getting beatup by a group of religious christians just because I sent out an email greeting everyone a Happy Xmas. Apparently some people equate it to blasphemy, and I think there is a statistic out there regarding people getting killed because they say Xmas instead of christmas. It's a very low number, but still.

Thats what i love about HUKDs **** like you who have a dig at peoples spelling and punctuation just because you think you are better because you stick punctuation in at every chance, when you have nothing better to say you always spout the same **** "you can't spell" well **** you and if I upset your boyfriend so **** what, what's it got to do with you, your sticking your nose into something that has nothing at all to do with you but you made it your business anyway.

The guy wrote in capital letters which in internet etiquette is shouting that it was Christmas not Xmas, which infact was proved wrong its an abbreviation with someone as clever as you with punctuation I would of expected you to of understood that.

I suppose it'd be like deciding that one wanted to celebrate Eid but not being a Muslim renamed it E'ed and concentrated celebrations on partying and drugs.
