You have to ask who would have actually spent four quid on a lens cover.
#3
Are they the screw-on ones?

Better to spend a few quid on a cover rather than risk scratching a lens worth many hundreds I'd have thought!

Worth a try though, I managed to pick up a skylight filter for £1.40, not bad at all for something that normally costs £14 so the deals ARE out there and at least you can search on-line.

I hope you are one of the few out there still shooting film, not much use for a skylight filter otherwise hence the price

Plenty in stock in Southport. Picked one up to replace a lost cover and a spare for another lens. These are the clip-on type, not screw-on covers.

Most people who shoot digital are happy with a skylight simply to protect their glass. If you are that bothered, minor tweaks to White Balance can always been achieved as part of raw processing or even JPEG processing with Lightroom or equivalent.

These aren't screw in ones, they're clip on.

Does anyone have one at all?

I'm hoping these don't have a piece of plastic running across the back of them, a bit like proper canon ones. I'm looking to cut shapes in the middle of them for bokeh techniques:

First picture to show what I mean before someone posts 'Bokeh techniques?' :D

Edit, can't find any 77mm ones anyway!
