Wow, a bargain at only a quid :) unless it's made from cheap plastic materials

It's a pound, what else would it be made from???

jonny619447
I hardly think that a piece of plastic crap inscribed with the words "made in China" on its bottom side counts as a souvenir of the London Olympic games.

Then you got one thing right - you "hardly think"... The location of the manufacturer is utterly irrelevant to whether the piece can count as a souvenir or not. It is London 2012 merchandise, and as such IS a souvenir of the London games - no matter what hang up you have on Chinese manufacturing...

1. It's not "a piece of plastic crap".
2. So what if it was 'Made in China', that's irrelevant as it is still Official London 2012 Merchandise, believe it or not Official items do actually count as souvenirs.
3. It's only £1, what do you expect for the price, the keyring to be made out of titanium with gold plating. :p

Don't upset jonny by saying it was crap.
He will get all his 'cyber' mates, got no real ones, from misc and try and bully you because he's the boss around them parts X) Thinks he runs it anyway, with his buddy churchill who posts pictures of his BLT for fun. :|

I'm starting to think you fancy me. Think I'm going to have to get an injunction order against you :)

Also, you would have to be:

1: Blind
2: Dumb
3: Lacking any knowledge of what constitutes entertainment
4: French, German, or Argentinian

To not appreciate that opening ceromony as being one of the best ever.

I'm guessing you probably tick all them boxes. Never mind, least you have your carer to press the buttons for you :)

Fair enough, but in the thread in question I asked collectorcool what he thought was wrong with it and how it could have been improved, he decided to ignore the question and continue trolling.

An opinion is fine, but looks a little silly if you can't give a reason for why you formed it. :D

How dare I not respond to you, the co owner of misc?
I do have a life, can't spend every second waiting for the almighty, sorry I didn't respond to you SIR!

Well you spent long enough in the thread talking crap, without saying why you thought it was that bad.
I think its pretty obvious that your brain works like a cheap usb drive so I'll give you time to think about why it was a failure and you can respond in due course.

If Wenlock and Mandeville made an appearance at the opening ceremony, I certainly didn't notice it.

There's probably a reason for that....

You could defecate into a jewellery box sometime over the next 2 weeks and call it a "souvenir" of the Olympics. That would also "count".

Current result of a poll in australia (www.theage.com.au) asking the question below. (I picked an Ausie poll as they won't hold back from criticising the Brits if there is a reason to).

How did you rate the opening ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics?
65% said excellent
12% said good
10% said average

Here in Norway, the commentary and studio were raving about how good the ceremony was. I believe that its generally the same reaction from many other countries from around the world. The problem is that Brits are well known for their whingeing, so some people will never be happy.

Great Find, thanks for sharing.

Will get a few souvenirs.

Not sure why all the comments are focusing on personal attacks or the cost/success of the London Olympics, THIS IS A DEAL BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE!

(isnt that the point of this site, to find the cheapest price of any products)

No. Try a price comparison site. Or a Google shopping search.

"Hot" means popular, not cheapest. All hot deals are cheap, but not all cheap deals are hot. This site is about sorting the wheat from the chaff and is entirely opinion-based.

I thought these would be at Poundland after the Olympics.

I take it there are not many pound shops in London? Imagine all the visitors knowing they can get all these stuff for £1.
#40
the keyring is quite nice, I have one (99p in Home Bargains) - all the other stuff just looks weird! And why did they do the main commentry in French then English? I couldn't understand that..... The Wenlock backpack is £2.99 in Home Bargains, can't believe the RRP of £30! Will look in Poundland for the pen! Thanks for posting.
