I like a good deal on a screw and this is a great deal
#2
32p a pack? It's going to cost Amazon more than that in packaging and postal prices....can see the £5 min for free postage returning soon.
#3
Yep good deal if you only want a few screws in your box but toolstation do them in boxes of 100/200 @ similar prices but your order has to be over £10 for free delivery unlike screwfix £55 but these prices are better than Wickes/B & Q/Focus etc all over priced and over packaged.:)

People have been saying this since they dropped the limit.... Give Amazon credit, they knew this would happen AND as the postage contract will be a fixed price it actually doesn't cost them any more. The envelope cost is insignificant re increased sales and lower purchase prices.

p.s. I don't think this is a new deal, loads of Silverline stuff was posted last week and I think these were included.

What's the "Silverline" brand like?
I hate some of the cheap screws that sometimes come with flat-pack furniture, whereby the screw head threads all get mangled too easily (the + or - part of the screw where you put the screwdriver).

I've never used Silverline consumables, but their tools are utter rubbish. I've got a few bits from them, including a pencil torch (small gas torch) and a set of precision screwdrivers. The torch couldn't produce a useful flame under any circumstances and had to burn all the gas in one use as the valve was so poorly made it couldn't shut off the gas supply, and one of the screwdrivers snapped the blade on its first use.
