Thats cheap! HOT
#4
Voted hot and ordered!
Cheers for that.

Oh, anyone know how many people this is meant for?
#5
Just ordered - rep left.
Looks like a one person tent to me. I've ordered it for when I watch my bro's play rugby. Gonna look like an idiot but at least I'll be warm(er) and dry(er) than the other spectators! :)
#6
you can get these in the other colours, just type in Quick Pitch Tent, ensuring there is a space..i've just ordered a pink one.
#7
You can get this in Pink?!! I just ordered another one! Now I'm definitely going to look stupid. I really must stop these impulse buys......

;-)
mumbojumbo
These are meant to be 2-person tents.
Be warned - they don't get great reviews. They will only remain waterproof in light showers and are difficult to disassemble.

these are ideal for a pup tent and for the beach..wouldn't want to sleep in one....but if you're struggling to disassemble...do as i and put the wife to good use...it's great entertainment !!!:whistling:

Thanks for the heads up - not ideal camping weather... so I went for Gelert tornado 5 with a
3000mm hydrostatic head - should keep dry in that!
Also worth looking at cooking set - these are reduced to £10 - would be hard pushed to find under £30 elsewhere - I bought 2!

Would i need the kit including pegs & hammer to go with this?
banned#15

Absolute codswallop

We used one of these for the GB rally of wales where it wee weed down for 5 hours constant. Kept 4 of us warm and cosy throughout without getting wet.

This could sleep 3 easily, 4 at a struggle.

V hot. Bought one. good spot

For what they are its a cheap price..... but they are strictly only a one or two man.
Dimensions of these pop ups are 225cm long 150cm wide and 100cm high. I find thenm too small just for myself.
The main point you should remember though, is that they are a single skin, so you will get condensation dripping on you all night.
The only make of these pop up tents that are any good are the Decathlon ones, but expect to pay £30 to £50 for those.
There is some other camping bargains to be had though from Woolworths... so voted HOT.

Wicked I bought a pink one!! Love it!!
Just the right thing for us fair weather campers!!
#21
This is not expired, only the red tent is out of stock - the other 3 colours are still available to order.
#22
Thanks for this, got one for my son to mess around in on the mountain with his mates. I was loath to let him mess about in my Khyam.
#23
i cant seem to access the colours. says sold out now anyway
#26

Personally i would recommend the Rocky 4 £20
The Tornado 5 at £25
Or the larger Tornado 5 at £35

These are really good quality and a well known make.... and the prices are a steal.
#31

we've had one for 2 years now and it's never leaked on us yet,we stick our's up on the beach,go off bodyboarding and use it to change the kids out of their wetsuits and we've been out in torrential rain for a couple of hours and our stuff always stay's dry,i think you'll find if you start rubbing the sides, top etc then you'll get a few leaks..but i'd give these 10/10....really handy for outside your main tent as well as a pup...i've just ordered another..can't go wrong at this price.:-D

Has anyone had any experience with the Gelert twister tents.
Would they recommend or advise against going for one of these.
I have heard they can be problematic when trying to get them back into the bag.

I would give it a miss.... Its an anonomous make so you cant find out the specs from another site. And i never trust a tent where i cant find out the waterproof Hydrostatic Head rating.
#38
thanks i will leave it

M'era Luna? (although leaving a tent behind is more of a gegger thing to do, so probably Wacken?).

Last time I was at a german festival there was no leaving of tents behind (it's a very british t○sser thing to do), I guess with all the brits going to euro festivals now there is going to be even more of this environmental damage from the idiots.

No wonder the world hates us.

Good price on the tent though, and good for somewhere like the boom festival in portugal. Wouldn't want to stay in the UK in one though. =]

Just spent a (very) wet weekend in a Tornado 3. It was snug (even for 2 of us...), but completely watertight...

For £35, I'd definitely go for the Tornado 5.
