Bug & muck remover in a spray for £2, was £4
Interior cloth disinfectant in a spray £1.97 was £3.98

got the wash and wax last time - quite good but no measurments on it so I use 3 to 4 caps for a bucket of water

if anyone wants good alloy wheel claener you should use patio cleaner and brush it on. This will get your wheels gleaming and it will last forever. This is what all of the garages use to clean your wheels ;-)

£8.99 for around 1.5 litres at your local DIY/B&Q

I got this trick off one of my friends who used to work in Caffyns

High chance its full of acids that will damage the finish on your alloys over time

Exactly. You know what's better than patio cleaner? Flat Coca-Cola - the phosphoric acid is superb. Patio cleaner is bad even for patios, as it eats away at the surface and creates pitting and thus more surface area for mould to grow on etc.

Stick to alloy wheel cleaners and then even a general car wax on them if you need to. Many people do this and claim it keeps brake dust off.

Even some proper alloy wheel cleaner's are not particuarly good for your wheels - especially if left on too long!

Good tip about the wax, the spray on wheel wax is good stuff.

I bought a bucket with a few products and sponge - think it was less than a fiver, bargain!

all decent wheel cleaners are acid! Try flicking some on the ants and see how they react....
