Just bought a pre reg (Dec 2014 with 5 miles on clock) Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Limited Edition 3 door hatchback petrol engine
Has Air con, cd player, elec windows, black alloys, sports seats, bodykit, metallic paint (phantom grey) etc
They definitely had a white one the same which is not as nice a colour but still a bargain imo

Also had other models
price was £8599 plus admin fee, road tax and petrol

Vauxhall ust bought ot new model hence the dscounts.
Pentagon have these for £9495 upwards depending on colour which I thought was cheap, so imo these are bargain

Every manufacturer does it when the current model is at end of life, they fill it with goodies to flog the last few. I don't mind having an old model if the price is right.

Did you realise for just a little more (approx £32k more) you could buy a BMW 5 series Gran Turismo! :p

Yep - SEAT is another manufacturer that springs to mind i.e COPA with the Leon.
That was supposed to be a special edition that they made thousands of.

All the manufacturers are guilty of it.

Owned the 1.0 corsa, brand new. Failed multiple times best of all when my partners waters broke. Threatened to sue them for selling me a faulty vehicle which they tried to avoid repairing under warranty, then when they did repaired it failed in less than 24 hours. Walked out with a car of my choice under the terms and conditions I wanted. Also heard from a Vauxhall mechanic that corsas are made from parts, new and old from other vehicles. Would never use Vauxhall again.

Nearly 9K for a second hand Corsa, doesn't sound like much of a bargain to me.

Does it have the Lifetime Warranty?
2 Likes #20
I don't think it will have Lifetime warranty as that is for the first recorded keeper, which if these are pre-reg the buyer won't be.

This would need to be clarified as could be a major issue.

You do realize that virtually every manufacturer will re-use parts amongst their products. Its cost effective and if it aint broke then dont fix it.
New cars can go wrong you see, ive seen several cars that have only been out of the showroom for a few days broken down at the side of the motorway from various manufacturers. Put it down to bad luck, for your one sob story thousands more will be happy about their new corsa.

dealer registered it in December but never left prime position in their showroom.
If thats secondhand to you then go and pay a few grand more for a "new"one!

Any vehicle that has been registered at DVLA by a dealer automatically becomes a used vehicle ie second hand.

You will be second recorded keeper.

Check your insurance company, they will have it down as a used car, and you will not normally get a new like for like replacement car, should it be a total loss.

Oh and no thanks, I wouldn't touch a Vauxhall with a barge pole.
