Where did the 1470 watts go then?

Seems excellent for the price

Or you can get the (identical except for the word "Pet"?) VEU11 for £34.24. Can anyone spot any difference?

Turbo Tool seems to be the only difference.

I think that's probably quite good for a Vax. Stll better than Bissell though.

i've ordered one and also got the 3 Year Replacement Product Cover for £7.99 which states "If it breaks, or is accidentally damaged we'll give you a brand new one, if we can't replace it we will give you Argos vouchers" so if it breaks "accidentally" :whistling: after 2 years i can get £40 argos vouchers back and then i've rented the hoover out for £4 per year :-D

2.5 years! That's a bit of short life! Ordered one anyway as I hate lugging my Dyson up and down like a mule! I will mull over it.

Nice person for pointing this one out! Like to thank all those who have reported good finds here, especially the one spotting the Sealy mattresses!

Cheers and merry Christmas!:santa::gift::stocking:

I read it as HOOVER as in what it is not as in the brand. Maybe you prefer using the word vacuum (sp). Horses for courses & all that.
I reserved one for my daughter who has just got a new flat & always borrowing mine (she has mine as I type!)

The point is, it's not a Hoover. It's a vacuum cleaner. Hoover is a brand. Calling it a Hoover is incorrect and can confuse people. (I swore I wouldn't enter into one of these conversations again, but I just couldn't resist. :prop:)

one of the reviews-

"Brilliant hoover i have a Siberian husky and it picks his fur up off the carpet with no problems at all, I will definatly recommend it to all my friends who have dogs."

Thanks for this, reserved one and picked up today.

Very good suction and a real bargain. Lead is a bit short but that's not the end of the world.

Hi

Got one from Argos in Cambridge today. Very pleased with it: Really good at lifting the pile on carpet and suction is excellent. I didn't think the lead was short

Also noticed other Vax cleaners were discounted but having read the specs this is the best one.

Heat and rep to OP. Thanks

I bought one of these to replace my dyson at home.... But now I know why Dysons are sooo expensive they are brill. I was going to use this one for my business so thanks to OP it has proved to be a welcome asset to my company.

I just bought what i thought was a VAX VEU021 from Argos but they have given me a "similar" model - the Vax Cadence V-044AA. Anyone have any experience with this model? Don't know whether to just get my money back....
