I've bought so many cordless vacs. Always disappointed with the power TBH. The ONLY one I now use the the dyson one, it's bl**dy expensive (£100) but soooooooooo much more powerful.

Dont Need it but ordered anyway

Always charged, always ready, always on standby sucking power even when it's never been used.

echo Beanz On Toasts comments above, the Kone looks v.nice, but poor at actual hoovering. Got 2 out of 5 review on Amazon or which I think.
I have a dustbuster, which I bought for £15 just for doing odd bits here and there - tops of cupboards, in car, where you can't really take a proper hoover. So ideal for my needs. Nice price granted, so voted hot, but be aware that the hoover isnt great.

This got 4/5 on Amazon. I just need one for the car as I cannot get a power supply near the car. Would it be good for that?

Best hoovers are made by karcher IMO. Got one cos it was on sale a while back and it's amazing! Hoovering became quite exciting! lol :)

Use the Amazon 30 day price promise, I bought 2 for £17.50 a few weeks ago, so I just contacted them to claim £5.50 refund as the price had reduced.

Hasn't Amazon stopped doing the price promise?

I used the contact button through amazon.co.uk and told them the price was reduced on 20/10/08 in the afternoon, I bought 2 on the 24/09/08 when they were on offer on HUKD, they must check that the price was advertised at that time, so make sure you mention the date they were reduced, so the fact the price went back up does not matter, it was available to buy at the reduced price, so you are entitled to a refund, I then got an email last night saying I had been refunded :

Dear Customer

Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.

The discounts we offer for items on our website often vary. I've checked your order #202-4542747-3XXXXXX and found that we offer a greater discount on "Vax K-001 Kone Handheld Vacuum cleaner White with Illuminating base" than when you placed your order.

I have requested a refund of 5.50 GBP to your payment card. This amount is the difference between the price you were charged and the new, lower price. The refund should appear as a credit on your next bank statement. Completed refunds information can be viewed when you visit "Your Account" once you've received a confirmation e-mail from us. Under "Where's My Stuff?" click "Go" next to "Open and recently dispatched orders" and sign in with your e-mail address and password. The refund information will be visible at the bottom of the relevant order's summary page.

Please note that only orders placed on or before September 1, 2008 are eligible for a price difference refund under the Post-Order Price Guarantee policy. However, we do continue to offer our Pre-order price guarantee.

oddly, it does say on the response that orders on or before September 1 2008 are eligible? well, they confirmed I had a refund processed, so its worth a go :
