Cheapest price I could find for this top of the range Vax Mach 7 Upright vacuum, so if you are voting cold then please give reasons or links to it cheaper. Had a look at reviews for this model and they were pretty good (apart from some saying it's heavy) It's nice to see it cheapest from the maker. The mach range comes with a 6 year guarantee and free delivery. There are actually lots of good value vacuums and cleaners in the 30th Anniversary Range on the website.
I'm not gonna bore you and give you the specs cos that sucks (a little vacuum joke)

I wont vote either way but I had a Vax once and it was truly terrible. Very, very heavy, loud enough to make your Granny deaf and next to no suction/pick up. I use a £20 recon Hoover I bought on Ebay and its better than the £200 Vax I had (that expired after 18 months). I know lots of people who have owned Vax machines and have had similar problems (breakdowns, loud machines etc) - just my opinion............

I take in what you are saying but I think Vax are doing something about the reputation with the free 6 year guarantee. It seems that from reviews the service provided from the guarantee is good also.

my vax has had two unconnected problems in the 15 months i've had it

sorted quickly under warranty

last time it came back with brand new belts and filters etc

happy enough

We had one that was a ton weight too. Was promptly returned.
