I bought one from Amazon. They do Work. You need to do it about one a year i would say.:)
good deal but none available near me!
Nothing around the Edinburgh, shame. I could have done with one of these. Not voting either way as not a deal if there's no stock anywhere.
this is a good find but i do agree cant vote something hot when it was not in stock when posted and most likely not going to be in stock neither
One left in Bishop Auckland
"Static Brushbar"

Wouldnt this make this a bit rubbish at cleaning compared to one with a rotating brush bar?
Heat and rep, got the last one at Streatham
Tend to agree. If no stock then this is not a deal. Checked all my area and nothing.

Yes it is a bit rubbish.

To be quite frank I wouldn't bother with any of the Vax upright carpet washers.
I've got a similar model, it's rubbish.
The only time I use it is with the the detachable nozzle which is handy for sucking up major spills. In upright mode it's pointless.. If you really, really, really scrub like mad with it and use very hot water and use the very small detachable nozzle - then it can get up really basic stains.

The lounge took me about 4 hours with rubbish results, doing the house would take days. A carpet cleaning company charged £100 for the whole house, took a couple of hours with excellent results - so I'll keep this for the odd spill, but as a carpet cleaning chance.
I agree with the above poster. If you can physically push this with one hand on the handle and the other on the front it may just touch your carpet!
Just used mine for the first time. I bought it as i have cats and wanted to freshen up my mattress and my bedroom carpet. Its done the job and left them freshened up. I do have a dark carpet though, if you have a light carpet id say this wouldnt do the job. However there are loads of positive reviews on the website and in any case HSS wanted £35 to hire a carpet cleaner for the day so this was a good deal for me.
