why not comment on this deal and tell people if the product is any good?

Thanks, ordered one. Been after a carpet washer for a while. The reviews for this seem mixed, but worth a punt. The £19.99 deal a few weeks back was for a 600W motor, this one is for 900W. Note that you don't get any accessories from Amazon (not sure what they are, most likely the pre wash wand, which is just a hose which sprays some light water on the surface before washing I think).

Ok, I don't have this exact model, I have a vax that was half price a while ago in agros .

Is it good, well.... I bought it and thought it would turn my carpets back to new - i was disappointed. It does make them cleaner than they were - you end up with a tank full of dirty water to prove it, but will someone walk in and go wooh is that a new carpet, no.

If mine broke tomorrow i would not replace it.

Got this one, it's not a bad little cleaner. The hand attachment thingamabob has 10x the cleaning power because of the very small space but same amount of suction the main cleaner gets, so that's really good for tougher stains on a small area.

It's pretty easy to get out and get going and a few years on, its still going strong. The little filters do wear out but you can buy replacements. I'd suggest buying one as soon as you can, so you know you always have it, in case it goes out of stock, permanently.

Price isn't impressing me. I paid this 2 years ago but it was on offer back then but even so, you'd be hard pressed to find a better cleaner for less.

I found that the carpet cleaner on it's own does not get stains out. If you spray the stained area with stain remover eg 1001 carpet shampoo from Poundland, leave for ten minutes, then use the carpet cleaner to shampoo and rinse, this is magic and brings the carpet back to almost new.

I had huge soil stains in front of the sofa of a rented house and now they are almost gone!
