Why is this showing 58.69 Inc VAT when i click on information?
Same for me.
Because it's in the "today only" section.

Is it just me or Is that Scan website a bit "cluttered"
Thanks to the OP -went for one :)
pretty tempted by one of thse...

anyone know what the height of the shelves are?

+ im assuming the 80kg weight limit is just for the telly and not for all the other kit youre gonna put beneath it too...
Thanks for the spot. If it's ****, it's only £30...
just ordered one, hope my kit fits :)

lucky they do free delivery via various forums as its 20 quid delivery otherwise!
Looks good, may get one. Not sure it's "high end" though...

Hi, i had to buy this item as the cost of a stand like this normally £300 upwards !!!!!

Great find !!!!!:w00t:
just got myself one, and sold my old one to my brother for £10. So £20 for a stand is pretty decent!

sorry seen one of these before and for the money its good but not comparable to a £300 stand. worlds apart.
Agreed they look OK in in pictures and in your room from a distance but the build quality is poor. Really get a feel for just how cheaply produced they are when building them.

Still great for the price, really doubt many people will need a stand that size though
nice stand heat added!

its better than ebuyer, dabs or mirodirect to browse....

they break down graphics cards, mobos, cpus correctly, so if you are a computer geek you will find very well laid out
Specs for the stand:

Scan's site is a bit messy but I like it. I love Ebuyer because of "add to catalogue".
Where is the 'today only' section? When I go to the site can't find it (although there is a little 'today only' symbol near the top of the page and a note telling me when the product changes).

As previously noted, a very congested and badly designed site
The scan site is great, nothing 'congested' about it. You buy from the section that is relevant to you and everything is organised into specs appropriate to what you are looking for.

It is not much of a window shopping site like ebuyer can be, which in my opinion is 'cluttered' with items popping up here there and everywhere which I don't want to buy.
Superb deal. Might be just what I need.

A clue - try using the link at the top of all the pages that says "today only"
I wonder if ISPs started charging 10p per email, Scan would send so many? :p I think I'm on my 6th or 7th now from them. Good comms for sure but a bit overdone especially if I came in tonight and found them in one go. Now, if everyone I bought stuff from sent 7 emails...

I'll post with some pics and quality comments as soon as I get the unit.
seems to have expired now. good deal.
It's a monster! :w00t:

Although it's never easy to determine "quality" I'd assume this was a £200+ item had it been delivered by accident. It's the thickest glass I've ever seen on a consumer item (it would need to be) and the packaging is excellent. 40kg+ 2 items. There's no screws or any of the usual flotsam and jetsam you get with Argos style stuff. All well designed and thought through constructed legs which are very well put together.

Nice. Thanks again to the OP and Scan of course. It's still on their site for <£60 so if you need/want a monster stand like this there's no better place to turn
mine came today too. and i am really pleased with it so far...

was fairly easy to construct for one person but two would be recomended (especially if you need to get the glass upstairs!!)

thanks very much to the OP
Ordered mine and it should arrive today. I agree that there is a lot of e-mail from Scan but at least they keep you informed which is more than a lot of conpanies I have delt with. Now comes the job of unplugging all my A.V. gear and setting it up again after the unit has been assembled.:x
Thats the worse bit of any new kit :)

In case anyone's struggling to work out how to build this you should have 6 of these feet started like this:

And then layer the glass on one at a time. Make sure you use the spacers.

Please excuse the poor picture -I did a reinstall this morning and it's only then when you don't have Photoshop installed that you really know how useful it is! :D
Mine arrived today and I am pleased with the quality especially for the price paid. I had some help so it didn't take too long to put together. I now need some way to hide all the leads at the back of the unit.
