I bought one of these sets on thursday night, and can confirm there well worth the money, was only looking for a single player for my son, which he could hold, argos sell one for £39.99 (reduced by £20!) then i thought id splash out the extra £20, and get an xtra screen, which they both attach to the headrests, really excellent quality, as sound comes from not just the screens, but the base unit aswell.

Comes with all accessories, even though it doesnt mention it...

DVD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/JPEG/Kodak picture clip.

Reverse, repeat, program and resume playback.

Language, sub-title, multi-angle selection.

Parental control.

Colour/brightness controls.

Built-in speakers.

In ear headphones supplied.

Headphone jack, one in each monitor and one in each DVD player.

Phono jack for AV-in/out (lead not supplied).

DC jacks input for car-plug adaptor.

Monitor-out socket for separate monitor.

TV connection via AV lead (not supplied).

Built-in din cable.

Remote requires 1 x CR2025 battery (supplied).

Car adaptor.

Yes great pice of kit. would not be without mine in the car on long journeys for the kids. Good price that.

voted hot
Forgot to add this has a £40 saving on it :)
Is 4 and a half inch screens not a little to small?

May hold out for a deal on 7 inch ones.
I thought the same thing as you actually, but i take the comment back now, for 4.5" i thought theyd be rubbish, but im well pleased.

Plus, you can tilt the screens up and down to get in perfect eyeline :)
Ok I may think about these then cos it is a good price:)

You can go to argos and actually have a look without buying.

In the book/online it doesnt say if it comes with the carrying bag/things to attach them to the headrests, so i reserved them online and when i got there asked if i could have a look before i paid for them incase i thought they were too small.

It really is an ex price :)
Agreed is a good price and voted hot. But does not mention car kit or how you will be able to hang monitors over the front seat headrests to view from the back seat.
good bargain. ordered mine for collection. voted hot. thanks
Anyone know of any good deals on twin 7" screen ones

4.5" is a bit on the small side, I think 6" is about average ;-)
Still a good deal I think
We've got these - paid £66 from Argos a few months back.

As far as I'm concerned the 4.5" screen is perfectly big enough, especially when you consider how far you are away from the headrest in front.

They're an absolute lifesaver on long trips, especially if you can get your kids to wear headphones to avoid the inevitable Disney overload ;-)

BTW, ours came in a neat carry case for easy storage in the boot.

Good spot OP
Yep, this has a nice carrying bag aswell, everything fits in really nicely, i cant say how pleased i am, i think i got a bargain, hence why i posted it :)

My little boy and my little sister are quite happy watching them aswell!
Nice deal Josh, thanks
Just Picked Mine From Store. Certainly Looks The Part Sent Hubby Out To Car To Set It Up.
Btw Please Note Runs From Car Battery Only (via Cigarette Lighter) Doesnt Have A Seperate Rechargable Battery.
I Only Point This Out As My Car Doesnt Have A Cigarette Lighter So Cant Use It In There. Will Have To Make Long Journeys In My Husbands Car From Now On!!
I seen something simular at Tesco for £89 (In a red box) Cant stay to long in any tech sections before the wife moves me on :whistling: :p :giggle: , Can anyone tell me what the screen size was. Also could the price be droping due to HD and blueray ?

Thanks in advance
It may be a bit risky as these are graded items but have lots of these items in at decent savings.

I bought a twin 7" set for £49.99, Argos price £129.99. These were A grade and don't appear to have even been out of the box.

They had the 4.5" set in at £35 earlier but they seem to have sold out. Worth a look?
Now down to £48.99
