Open product lid to see screen. Switch on. Open DVD Compartment lid and leave open. Press "Angle" then 3597. Menu appears Press right curser once then down cursor to select region required or Region 9 for "region free" operation. Press "enter" then close lid.Now Region change is effected

I reserved one at Cardiff Bay, looks like the last one.

At the time of typing I checked my local stores and there is also one in Cardiff Newport Road, Caerphilly, Barry, Talbot Green and Newport Stow Hill.. so should be gettable by a few more people in South Wales

Quick question - I have reserved one at my local store but just wanted to ask people that already have the DVD, what is the screen size like? I am looking to get a portable DVD for my daughter and just wondered if the screen size might be too small. Is it better to go for at least a 7inch screen DVD.

For me 4.5 is way too small. Wait for the 7 inchers to go down in price.

Hi all. Can't find much info on this. Can anyone tell me what the battery life is like and where I can buy a spare battery?
#24
£30 is a good price, but beware, you get what you pay for

no car adapter, only mains

battery attaches like a hump on a hunchback - steve jobs(apple) would laugh his ass off with the ergonomics

the lid, is secured by a bit of plastic which requires brute force to get off - prob last no longer than 6 months for me

the remote control is required for fast forwarding, there is no FWD control on the player itself - only chapter navigation

struggling to get it to play 4:3 DVDs with the right aspect - manual implies this is possible

on the +ve side though the screen is nice and bright and clear, the player itself recognises DVD-R without wheezing like my philips

This is now £19.99 for reserve at store, not sure how many they will have left probably just clearing the remaining units, but might be of use to someone.
