Thanks. Will take a look tomorrow, hopefully there's some left at my local Poundstrechers. I'll be grabbing a few CD-R's.

If these are Japanese Verbs, this beats Sainsburys offer by 50p for the DVD's and much more on the CD-R's.

H&R added!

I only got the CD-R's from the Durham store, those say Made in India on them. Unsure where the DVD's are made in though as didnt need any at the time.

I got 100 Verb dvd-r's from PC World recently on a bogof deal and not had a single coaster yet. Picked Japanese over Taiwanese because of the dye issue....nice to know they're just as good as each other.

Even if they are Indian, I'm tempted to get a box just to see how they perform. Would Verbatim put their name to a really inferior product?

beware of fake dye/media codes. Only buy from reputable brands & dealers

It all depends on your DVD burner. Some can only burn -R while some can only burn +R and some even can do both. Dig the instructions manual out or search online for the model to find out.

DVD-R would be the best bit! DVD-R are a default disk to use with any dvd burner really, DVD+R are fussy on movies or games ive fine with a lite-on drive, pioneer and also samsung, Hp . . . I Always stick with dvd-r VERBS OR SONY . . . Go for verbs DVD-R

I agree, if in doubt go for DVD-R. These Verbatims are fine, I'm halfway through a tub and will be buying some more.

ignore the brand name , look out for dye manufacturer instead. verb discs can be cack too, depending on the dye they use, it changes from place to place.
