This 2TB HDD includes USB 3 interface card. I just got mine today and it's a very nice quite drive with a power switch on the rear. Haven't tested on USB 3 yet as the interface card requires an internal molex power cable to connect to it and my one isn't long enough. A SATA to molex cable is included for those who only have SATA power cables in their PCs. The mains power adapter comes with UK and foreign adapters (continental?).

Reported USB 3 speeds are 3 times USB 2 for these drives, will report back once my interface card is up and running.

The only neg point so far is that the included USB 3 cable is very short and won't reach to my desk so the drive would have to sit on my PC base unit until I buy a longer cable.

Only 7 left in stock but Amazon keep getting more stock of these.

The price is now £101.83. So it's true then that once Amazon notices people buying they put the price up.

If you wait it out the price will come down again as usual with Amazon. Amazon is getting irritating with it's auction style pricing.

Providing you have pcie 2.0 slot or higher as on a v1/1.1 slot you will have 2.5gbps bandwidth [halved] which to be fair is far too much for that HDD inside the Verb and even so for a samsung f3 [4.8 gbps / 5.0gbps is full)

Transfering 14GB with 2500 items over USB 3 I am getting between 36-55MB/sec which isn't what I would call terrific as I normally get 22MB/sec over USB 2. I can see why Apple have gone for the Thunderbolt interface for the new MacBook Pros.

small files lots of files/folders within folders is not easy to TX over any interface .It's slows the overall transfer down.
