Verbatim 400GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive £56.99 plus 10% Account Credit @ Cdiscount.

Seems a good price for 400gig portable drive.
Powered from the USB port unlike their bigger 3.5 cousins

Remember 5% quidco too.
I think next day delivery is £3.99

Some seem to be voting this cold. Could you please state why, if there are better deals then highlight them so the rest of us can benefit.

Don't think it's cheaper anywhere else. Hot for me!

I'd pay 50p more for a Western Digital, guaranteed decent drive and build quality. Also free p&p! So cold from me.

I thought verbatim was a good HD brand?

Plus with this deal you get 10% credit back plus 5% quidco so you could actually be getting it for under £48.

Verbatim don't make the drives inside their enclosures. I'm not sure what drive would be inside perhaps a Seagate or Hitachi but definately not a WD which is considered a very reliable brand (i'm not saying the others aren't but a WD is a WD) I would say the WD passport is a lot more aesthetically pleasing as well. You'd be getting the Verbatim for £48 + £3.99 p&p

A £5 saving is what it comes down to!

Also 2 year warranty for the Verbatim vs 3 year for the Western Digital.
