Well i know for a fact they were this price a couple of months ago I'm just not sure if it has stayed that price. Brilliant discs though, not had a coaster yet.

Yes but SVP charge £4.99 + VAT for delivery.

The product code indicates that these will be the "made in India" variety.....so buyer beware.
Personaly, I'd wait till a 99p shipping day and buy the Singapore ones.
Still, its a good price at Play if you happen not to get a bad batch.

i buy a different brand from ebuyer for about £4.50 a packs of 10.

Yeah, I buy infiniti 360 inkjet pritable dual layers from ebuyer which are way cheaper.
I use them for 360 backups and never had a single coaster!
I wont vote cold though cos I know this is a reasonable price for verbs, but I urge people to try other brands like the infiniti discs too.

I have bben using Alone d/l - they have been spot on and no coasters (printable ones)

Yup, 10 here for £3.75. (£6.33 with super saver delivery)

Completely aware that this is probably a thick question time: do you need something other than a regular DVD writer to use these?

@Tronads

Which are the singapore ones from svp? Looking at getting some 8x dl verbs from svp but there is 3 to choose form. How do i tell which is which?

I'm pretty sure most DVD writers are dual burner, google your dvd writer model number and see.

If you don't know it, click on the start menu, then on run and type in msinfo32, then expand the components section that appears and click on cdrom, after waiting a second a menu should appear on the right and it'll say which one you've got in the name column.

For Verbatim DL this is a HOT price. I usually shop at www.shopneo.co.uk but they're £10 + £2 postage.. this is a slightly cheaper deal.

I tried these and they were complete ****, all coasters. Verbatim are far superior. No point in voting cold just because they are a bit dearer than the rubbish makes.

Never had a single coaster with the Aone discs in either of my LG burners. Great discs for the money.

Maybe try upgrading your burner F/W?

Best quality you can get , £9.99 inc VAT +p&p . I buy 5 or more packs at a time plus get a small discount via a torrent site still making them cheaper than the Play.com ones plus there gaurenteed Singapore not the inferia Indian ones some sites try selling at "cheap" prices . False economy .

Hello

This may be a strange request but I wish to know if for playing the dual layer disk I would need a special player.

I have a DVD D/L burner on my pc but I do not know if the DVD player on my television (LCD combi) would play these disks.

Would be helpful is someone can reply on this.
