Cheapest I have ever seen Verbatim 8x Dual layers! Best backup discs I have come across to date.

Edit:-

As pointed out by brilly in a below post, PLAY.COM have this for the same price too, so it's personal preference as to your fave supplier! (Cheers brilly!)

My advice to EVERYONE would be to avoid these discs like the plague. They are cheap for a reason. My drive accepts anything from Maxell, TDK, Verbatim, Sony and many more without a single coaster. I thought I'd try the single layer version of the aone out due to them being so cheap and it was a bad decision. The first 3 discs all failed on me. I tried the fourth disc on my PC's Sony writer and it failed whilst burning on that too. People say brand names don't matter but that only applies to certain things. When it comes to blank media brand name does matter and I've found TDK, Sony and Verbatim discs to be 100% reliable.

Go for this deal without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

I'd check if your firmware on your drive is upto date just to be sure..
but i agree - cheap media is cheap for a reason.

Firmware on both my drives is upto date. Aone discs are utter ****, simple as that. I've gone with lesser companies with other forms of media and had great results. A generic Argos Value Range CRT tv is still functioning in my house since 1995. But with black discs, especially DVDs, I've found established brands to be the most reliable.

Went though over 100 Aone's with no probs, always get 10 packs from ebay different sellers, Aone + printable doesnt matter, no probs ever. Although i got a £20 Pioneer burner having read up on it being the best for DL discs on xbox 360. Have Aones at least 2 yrs old and they still work!

Doesnt take away from this deal as this is still a great price for a highly regarded brand. Just dont like when ppl diss Aone discs when its most likely their burner causing the problems. Or their XBOX drive as i only have two BENQ drives.

sorry but ive used atleast 50 aone discs and never had a problem...u either burn too fast or have a dodgy burner sorry Aone have been nothing but spotless for me at the fraction of the cost of a verb.

you really dont no what the 360 is like if you think aone is a good disc. you must have a good laser in your 360 but not to many do. verbs are the best by a long way trust me i know.

This is a very good deal but my advice would be don't listen to the advice that has been quoted.

Aone disks are brilliant. I've used more than 50 of these over the years and probably had one of them fail on me!

You are either burning them too fast or your burner is pants.

Great price. Ignore the Aone discussion - this is a deal on verbatim, if you want verbatim then its hot!

You can also get a smaller alternative - 10 pack of these with only 5p per disk difference here (I bought them last week for £7.50 so maybe they still will be available at this price one day):

On the dash in My Xbox where you press 'X' to play your game you can normally press 'Y' to access a small menu where you can install to HDD.

Just the thought of buying blank media from unknown ebay sellers brings me out in a cold sweat!

I used to buy the B-grade cheap and cheerful stuff, but after a couple of tubs of Datawrite Titanium's (CMC MAG AE1 media code) where literally half of them were coasters, and discovering a bunch of my Ritek G05's weren't even *visable* to several of my readers anymore let alone readable [Google ritek g05 reflectivity degradation] I decided to steer clear of E-Net brands and only buy the good stuff, TYG or MCC media codes.

This site's useful

Cheap media doesn't work out cheap if loads of them fail to burn or if you have to re-rip and burn them every couple of years. And not all burns are equal either. Just because it burns and verify's doesn't mean it's a good burn. Doing a surface scan on my old Ritek's with Nero CD Speed many were in a shocking state.

I'd always recommend Verbs now.
#25
had that site in ma bookmarks since i used to make PS2 backups in like '05

i used to be like u with Tayo Yudens (sp?) being the best and only option but since i bought my Pioneer burner iv not a prob with Aone's at all, was skeptical as first but well over 100 burns in with some over 2yrs old thats enough proof for me to not spend more than i need to, and never had a problem with unknown ebay sellers, as long as theyve got good feedback i order
