Because you did not choose Super Saver.

Still works out 50p per 4.5gb (compared to single disc). Could be the reason why people vote cold. Dual layer discs are over-priced.

People buy dual layer for a reason...cough(360 backups)cough :whistling:

Wouldnt use any ther disk than these really, very very reliable.

Great price, better than most disk shops :santa:

Good price. Beats play by a couple of quid.

Are they singapore Verbs or Indian??? The former are rumored to be more reliable.

That is true but you NEED dual layers for certain things and can´t go for normal DVD´s as alternative

Sorry I don't understand why this is a good deal, thats over £1 per disc :?

£17.65 after delivery. I'd go for 2 packs of 8x Verbatims over these due to the postage price but good price otherwise

Cold
Only £6.87 inc delivery for 10 Printable DVD+R DL.
Works great for 360 backups as well.

Well that´s not the same item, is it.
Some people want only verbatims.
You can´t compare prices for Aone´s with Verbs

You can when they do exactly the same thing.
#18
Yes you CAN. I did use Aone´s for ages too.
Stopped using them when they changed the dye as I only got bad burns since then. Been using verbs for like 6 months now.
And there are people who only want verbs.
Show me where you can get 10 verbs cheaper than that please.
This thread is about verbatim discs, not cheap alternatives.
I don´t know why I even bothered posting this.
All ya get is complaints anyway.

I clicked on the second link and read the most recent reviews. Virtually all gave a one star rating, said they were carp and would not be buying again. Hardly a glowing reference. This is why Verbatim gets away with overcharging so much, because nobody else has got the hang of producing consistently decent DVD-DLs. Aones used to be ok back in the day - but that was two years ago.

Have some heat, TanyaSpace. The cold voters can enjoy their coaster collection.

Click where it says "12 used and new available from £8.25" the first one on the list is Amazon @ £9.99 for some reason the original link now takes you to a marketplace seller.

Although delivery 1-2 months doesnt look good to me!

Sorry I know this is an old thread, but I love how people say that Aones and Verbs are the same for 360 backups.

They're not. I've flashed quite a few 360 drives, and always reccomend Verbs. Why? Because the type of disk you use on a 360 does have an effect on the laser of the console (ie wear and tear). Also, a Verb will last much longer than Aones, I have personal experience of this. I would love to know if all the Aone games people have still work in 12-18months after constant use.

But yeah, people who say Aones are just as good as Verbs will not be convinced no matter what anyone says, because at the end of the day they are looking at their wallet, which is totally justified, I'd do the same if I had to, but when it comes to 360 games, I'd rather 40p-60p extra per disk as I know I'm saving more than £30 anyway. I know many people who use Aones. But, anyone who says Aones are the same as Verbs are in denial. They're not. Even the MIN ones.
