heat and rep for the title alone, that said these are still good value even if you plan to use them as floppys.

I used to have hundreds of these bloody things. Chucked them out when I rather foolishly binned my Amiga.

i had a bin liner full of these damn things.....there really isn't much a normal person would do with them other than bin them especially now that we have usb drives.
#19
I chucked about 300 of these in the bin the other day as they was just taking up room in the cupboard I stick me stuff in.

I would describe myself as "fairly normal" and like all of us have hobbies, I like retro gaming/computing, so still use floppy disks for my Commodore Amiga 1200.

Also my 5 year old Yamaha DGX 300 Keyboard utilises floppy disks for track storage.

1000 floppy disks for £50.34 del. That's 5p a disk. bargain!

that's a whole 1.44GB of memory!

tbf, shame they're not ls240 disks. 240GB for £50 would have been a good deal 3 years.

I had a copy of Windows 95 on floppy disk(sssss!!!) .... life wasn't so funny back then
God help any user that shafted their windows install to such an extent I had to waste a huge chunk of my life reinstalling it. :x

Very foolish, not only do retro computers fetch some money on Ebay from collectors, the least you could have done is freecycle it, it is criminal to throw away a working computer that has historic importance in mine and others eyes....oh well.

This is a great find. I emailed them to check that they are actually coloured ones as shown and they are. I might have to buy a bunch of these with a view to doing some wall art.

That looks cool, but it doesn't look like floppy disks. It looks rather like they've spray painted them the pink colour which sort of defeats the point I think. Look at the black disks, the shutters are barely discernible against the plastic of the disk. Looks like they've been spray painted black. I could be wrong, it's not a very good quality photo.

If you hotlink people's images at least have the decency to credit them.

According to the latest T3 mag 12 million 3.5 inch floppies were shipped in Japan last year.
