They have been listening and have updated their returns policy, which might make purchasing more desirable.

Not paying this price for Mediatek + import, too much risk.

Anyone know where to get advice on overheating on my LG G2? Frequently crashes. Other than that i love my LG.

I was waiting for this phone, until I checked their forum, some pretty unhappy people on there.

You may still be under warranty (depending on when in August). Call LG directly tomorrow!

Appears to be another good phone, you'll have to read the reviews and make up your mind I guess.

You usually don't get charged import if you choose the cheap delivery. I ordered the elephone p8000 like 1 year ago didnt get charged :)

Nice price for a well spec'd piece of kit (Antutu score of around 94k). Just too large for me to use as a phone though.

I bought one of these on pre-order but cancelled after getting fed up of the usual China pre-order delays. I am very pleased I did after looking in the vernee forums, riddled with bugs and hardware failures.

Was about to buy before I read your post. Do you have a link or anything to the specific negatives?

If you Google Vernee forums, the official forum is the top search, people mainly complaining about connectivity and charging issues

Elephone p 9000?

This is my particular Chinese phone of choice. But get it from an EU seller or Warehouse if you can.

No, but I have ordered one. It should be arriving in a couple of days. I managed to find one for cheaper than this price on eBay, and located in the UK.

To be honest, it might be less risky to buy from China

No because I paid with PayPal, and ordered from a seller with 100% feedback. I do this all the time. I've brought lots of phones, computers, consoles etc from eBay. Never had a problem so far. I even got my high end gaming PC from there.

Could you give a good reason for that?

Like No1_VIPER, always paid with PayPal & if sent from the UK, it's one of the safest & quickest ways to get your item.

I was only semi serious, there's lots of good and bad sellers on eBay but like you, I've generally been OK.
