Very Cheap 4* Hotel midweek in Dublin £10.09

For those of you (and me) who managed to get the Ryanair tickets for next to nothing to Dublin, this hotel may be of interest.
I booked a Tuesday flight return Wednesday in July and managed to get a deluxe room (without breakfast) for only £10!!! Had a quick look and it seems to be for a month only from end of July to end of August midweek only.
Hotel states that it is 2 miles from the city centre and 5 miles from the airport.

Hope it is of use to someone.

Just worked it out should be 128 per night if you look at the twin room rate, hope they honour the price for you

That was what I did when booking (0 bags and online check in) .........you also have an option about insurance.

Cabin bags have to be smallish though but ok for 1 night. (see sizes etc on Ryansite)

Just booked it as well for the 25th to 27th. Like most people I have also booked cheap flights as well. There will be one hell of a s**t storm if they don't honour this.

Wow what a fantastic find, and a gorgeous hotel, the lobby and the fahrenheit grill look beautiful! Hope you all have a lovely trip!

ps. It has great reviews and lots of customer photos of more ordinary rooms, on the trip advisor site. Its graded 16th out of nearly 200 hotesl in the area.
#13
Steve Clark........... Thanks for the info on T & C........ I will call the hotel later to confirm they have my booking etc.

Everyone take a screen shot of your hotel booking with the price on it!! lol hopefully they'd have to honour that.

For info and customers comments on this hotel you can look at TripAdvisor.com Some mixed reviews but hotel looks good

this has got to be a mistake and should be €128.00
I wouldn't risk booking flights etc on this - they are perfectly within their rights to cancel, or not accept you when you check in at this price.

You are of course right but now I have found that the flights were pretty much free anyway I think we will go anyway even if we don't end up staying in a castle. I suspect they will discover this pretty quickly.

BTW, be warned that while the Clontarf is a very nice hotel, it's also very far out from the centre of dublin and the airport. From memory a taxi ride to the airport from the hotel was around 20-30 min and cost around 30EUR.
#19
On the hotel site it does say a 97% reduction from there normal rate of Euro400.00 which does equal Euro12.00

So maybe it is correct ??

Just had a call from the hotel stating there was an internet glitche over the weekend and they can not let me stay for the 12.80 euros paid, I can still have the room for the rate of 128.00 euros or they can refund my payment, I explained that I have already booked my flights now and that the payment has been refunded in full and they should honour my payment and booking at the price paid, the man said that is not possible, I informed him I will be calling Trading Standards about this before he is to do anymore with this booking. Has anyone else had this call yet? Where do we stand on this can we make them honor the booking?
#35
Payment made in full I meant above

i've not had this call yet, but doesnt sound good :(
#37
Well I did the screen shot at each stage of the booking so I am hoping to push them to honour it based on this or at least refund the airfare £9.98 !!!!!
#38
I wrote to them asking them to confirm my reservation and they have given me the same reply, error in booking system so the room will cost 128€ per night! Glad I waited before booking flight.
#39
Just had same call saying they could do my 3 nights at 128 Euros per night - but could not honour this. I have a screenshot of my booking/ paerwork etc, but am not hopeful. Have booked my flights too :-( Any idea how much Ryanair charge for cancellations.............

Jim.
#40
Its 100% cancellations on your flights, which mean you get nothing back and it quoted me £112 to change to another date, oh well I'm down £10 on the flights, shame it never came off though
