Cat Mate Microchip Cat Flap - £43.42 @ VetUK using code VETUK10

Operated by your cat’s unique implanted identification microchip, the cat flap eliminates the stress and frustration caused by the unwelcome intrusion of neighbouring cats, providing a safe and secure…

We got one when they eventually came back in stock, agree with the comment above, really pleased with it. The door is much quieter than the previous cheapy magnet one we had before (which never closed properly and let a gale in).

The only thing is that our cat is pretty small, so her neck is sometimes a weeny bit too low fot it to pick up her microchip when she has her head down to push it open with her nose, so it sometimes takes her half a minute to get in.
I bought one for my rather large Russian Blue and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It has given him the complete freedom to do whatever he wants without me having to act as his butler and it prevents his mates venturing into our house.
It is relatively easy to install as long as you do not follow the instructions that come with the box but draw the shape of the cat-flap on to a piece of cardboard and then use that to cut a right-sized hole into the door.

The best £44 I have spent for a long time.

Good price but didn't do much to kill fleas on my cats. Worth trying stronghold as an alternative. Used it mid week and cat blanket has lots of dead fleas in it now. Yeah.
Heat added, thanks
Excellent, much cheaper than my local vet, ordered for my two. Cheers OP, heat added!
Best stuff around - although one of my cats are allergic to them! Heat added :)

Keep them in the fridge? I know it tells you not to, but it also tells you to keep them below 30C, so I assume they tell you not to keep them in the fridge in case your kids eat them as a midnight snack.

I have teeny tiny dogs and nothing is small enough.

This works well, can be used on the smallest breed puppies from 8 wks of age so fine for Chihuahuas and other micro breeds

heres a very good offer on iams

http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/products-Iams-Adult-Cat-Food-15kg_CA0231.htm

2 15kg bags for £72

works out at £2.53 per kg

Pretty good as 5% Quidco too... Thanks
Probably being voted cold because a) historic cruelty of animal testing - iamscruelty.com (other side of the argument iamstruth.com), b) there are better brands of food available and not too dissimilar prices (though maybe slightly dearer - James Wellbeloved, Arden Grange?)

My cats the same hardly ate anything we put in front of him until about 3 months ago when we tried iams and now he will only eat this

last time i stocked up was £3 per kg bag at asda dont know if offers still on
He would love it if we gave him chicken breasts etc. every day but it would hardly work out economical!

He can't stand wet food and turns his nose up at most other dry foods too (he recently had some prescribed food and he practically went on hunger strike!). He was eating Iams when we adopted him so we've stuck with it. I guess cats just like to be fussy...

just seen constant warmth for up to 12 hour! so that answers by question
usually use hot water bottle in my rabbits cage - do you think this would be better?
heat added, i brought a heat pad for my rabbit a few years ago at about about £20. its fantastic, its durable and lasts.
i would recomend this product 100% its a great way to keep your pets snug in the winter months
Nice, heat added. When I was a kid, my dad dad said I could get a rabbit, but that we'd be setting it free in the winter rather than fork out to keep it warm/alive, and that he'd just buy me a new one each spring. Needless to say, I never took him up on his offer.
