offers the best ground feedback

When your foot hits something hard, that's the ground, simples.

I had surgery on my heel bone where they had to detach the tendon. 6 months of physio didn't sort it but these things did in a month. Never run in them but walking they correct your posture i swear by mine
#8
Scientifically proven to stimulate more nerves in the feet due to a thinner sole.

Yeah, there is all sorts of nonsense about the unsubstantiated claims made by these shoes. Everyone I know who owns them thinks they are fantastic, for running or for everyday use. The packaging claims may have been a little/wildly optimistic, but they do seem to work.

A lot of other people felt the same. In the class action lawsuit they lost in the U.S due to their overzealous marketing claims, a load of happy customers joined the case. When the money was awarded and distributed (which came to less than $50 each), they spent the money on a new pair of Five Fingers so the company got most of it's money back.

the only claim I can agree with, from my use of these, is that just like when running barefoot within a few steps you unconsciously switch from heel impact to flat foot impact or in my case ball of the foot impact.
whether there are medical benefits to this I couldn't say.

How are they for size? Does anyone know if they come up big small or spot on?

@Egoman if you Google Vibram Size Chart there is a guide which tells you how to measure your feet to ensure you order correct size.
