Quoted from their website:

- Great product to protect your bicycle/bike
- Ultra loud 110dB alarm -- scares potential theives away
- Don't let bike thieves get the better of you protect your investment easily and effectively with the movement triggered alarm which emits a scarily loud sound if your bike is tampered with. No thief will want to hang around when this alarm goes off!

I discovered this deal via a post on the Bike Radar forum and have just ordered one myself, seems like a good deal.

it looks like if it is attached to the bike, you wouldn't be able to open the battery compartment because the bike frame/tube would be in the way.

That actually works out cheaper than this product.

He'd probably set the alarm off? and of course he'd have find a brick first.

The way I see it is that no security solution is perfect (if a thief wants your bike badly enough, he'll have it) but the harder you can make it for them the better and the more likely they will be to give up.
