i imagine these need special consideration to install. The lack of bulbs is surpriseing

Installation is DIY job.. all you need to make sure is to screw the plate to the beam & not celing boards. None of the celing fans come with bulbs btw

I had been looking for a light fitting to mount three low energy bulbs on the one light fitting as the room is a weird shape (a rather unbelievable 13 walls), and a light facing in each 120 degrees addresses this perfectly.

Although they are ES rated at 40W, they will take ANY low energy bulb, as they are all rated well under that - and I noticed you can now get low energies that can be dimmed.

Its just a pity about the bordelloesque shades!!!

Anyone know if you can get red low energy light bulbs? :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Heat added and repped as I am buying one.

Have seen these up close........I thought it was very poor quality, don't honestly think it's worth more than what you are paying, certainly not worth the original £34.99.

This is just a pet hate about ceiling fans, but the ones on stalks vibrate slightly , and having lived in a warmer country where they are used often - the stalked ones eventually start dropping their mounting screws.
