"The streetsonline.co.uk website (the "Website") is owned and operated by Woolworths plc.
All of the goods on this Website are offered by Woolworths plc ("we/us") which will be the contracting party for any order that you place. "

So useless customer service from these as well then?
#2
Maybe, but I've used them often in the past with good results :)

Basically, you're better off using them for lower priced orders though ;-)
#3
I think this one is going the same way as Woolies - I have had one order cancelled - OUT OF STOCK - and am waiting on a second, smaller order to see if it does the same.

I am not impressed by these folks (Streets Online and Woolworths) websites - where is the real time stock calculation? Why are we being allowed to order if the stock is not there? Grrrrrr!
#4
Before you checkout, look at the expected delivery status. If it gives a date before ordering, you've more chance of receiving it I think. I should imaging the lower priced offers have already gone anyway, but anything from around £10 should be okay...

Welcoem to HotUKDeals by the way dancrawley :)

Ahh, I remember the good old days of Streets when they had fantastic Sales and good packaging (box with plastic mould protection)..

..I'm not sure where it all went wrong, but I haven't bought from them for well over a year - they were great once

Yeah, a name from the past. I still have some audiostreet packaging filed away somewhere. Maybe I could sell it as an antique on ebay ;)

Oh yeah, before they split up into seperate 'streets' they were Blackstreet weren't they.

Thanks Ray for the heads up :)

Isn't it a coincidence that they have ALL the same games as Woolies, at the same PRICES, if you click on each one, there is an empty page.
Woolies cancelled my order, and then sent a confirmation email, on the website account shows orders cancelled.
Woolies really know how to disappoint customers on every level.:viking:
#20
I placed an order last night, got a confirmation email through. I guess i'll just have to wait and see if anything happens.

:?
#21
Placed 2 orders last night around 7, got the cancellation emails for both this morning. I don't like Woolworths.
#22
Just checked my order history on their website and apparently I haven't got any. Even though I had confirmation email. Looks like they've cancelled it.

Isn't that false advertising

:x

2 Cancellation emails saying:

Ah well, nothing ventured and all that eh :)

Got OutRun 2006 for PS2 £11.97, next cheapest I could find was £12.99 and it's still going for up to £30 on some sites. Ta for the post!
#26
Why has streetsonline received such a high vote. I ordered 3 games from these muppets and all orders were cancelled today.

They are as bad as Woolworthlesswooths.
#27
I guess mostly only those who've had bad feedback have posted, anyone who has found it useful must have heated it up.
#28
Woolworthlesswooths. - pmsl im still trying to pronounce that
#29
Isn't that false advertising

No - the Advertising Standards Authority doesn't give a toss about what people do on the Internet.
Your local Trading Standards Officer might be more interested though - pretending to sell something you don't have as a way of gathering new customer details for junk mailing has got to be seen as sharp practice.

Oh got to love that site anybody looked at hardware under wii? Ok the site tells me the console is Now: £179.99 why what was it before? Anybody????
banned#31
The Wii was released at £179.99 and it's still that price!
