The Viewsonic N3260W 32" LCD is at a very nice price at savastore - £599.98. Now I know that most branded 32" LCD TVs are around and about this price, but I can tell you that this baby has an absolutely excellent specifiation. Viewsonic are one of the top brands for making monitors, and this superb TV has got all of that and more! One of the major features of this TV is the response rate - it is an amazing 8ms (taken from the Viewsonic website)!!! This model is about £50 - £80 cheaper than most other stores. PLUS - it come with a 2 YEAR WARRANTY!

I have a Viewsonic monitor myself - highly recommended make!

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that this TV is actually 82cm wide? I'm interested in getting one, but space is very tight and I can only afford around 83-84cm.

Cheers

The full spec on the Viewsonic website confirms this: ( http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/uk/Products/LCDTV/N3260w.html )and that would be very reliable information. It's a lovely TV, if I didn't already have a big TV, I can't justify geting this one... *sob*

I've done a bit of research and actually purchased a different one from Novatech (2% quidco discount). From what I've read, it's a very good set and a good alternative to this one. For those who are interested, the link is:http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NOV-A321

I read this review before choosing the Hyundai one. It seems to have some very good specs and end user reports on avforums...

I love my viewsonic monitor - I would be so tempted by this offer if I had a spare bit of cash hanging around...

Are the AVforum reviews good Sach of the viewsonic? I also found this review which isn't too bad: -

Is there anywhere this is stocked so I can see before I buy?

Thanks

Just had a quick search on AVforums and there's not a lot on there. I noticed that the contrast ratio of the Viewsonic is 800:1 whereas the Hyundai is 1000:1. The quality of the Hyundai is well documented on AVforums with quotes of good quality with Sky Digital and hardly any motion blur. Also the 2 year at home warranty was quite reassuring. All these reasons combined swayed my decision toward the Hyundai over the Viewsonic.

Thanks for the extra info Sach :)

Good points to think about from everyone. It's interesting to read contrasting reviews on the same model, to show the different opinions. Personally, as I agree with bluep, I love Viewsonic and (if I needed one) would probably go for that brand.

I've spent a bit longer looking into this and have been put off by the reviews. Links below for you to make up your own mind: -

Most of the reviews I have read suggest spending a little more for a decent unit.

Hope these help and thanks for all your info Sach and of course Emma.

Interesting Greg Thanks.

I like the Hyundai for it's Samsung panel, 1000:1 Contrast and looks.

Another Hyundai here has an integrated DVDB-T digital tuner for the same price.
