Second hand?

No, it's new but it's suppose to be for commercial premises to hang on the wall

nope, new

Doesnt come with speakers, or a built in tuner.

You can add both for less than £50, plus a wall mount for £20.

So you're looking around £265 in total to get this working as a tv set - up.

Still not too bad.

Few days ago it was voted -66 now it's hot at +30 strange place.

But then surely you could buy a branded 32" 720p TV for them sorts of prices, with a stand already on, with a tuner and also speakers all in one nice neat unit....... Makes this a bit much hassle surely?

Exactly!
#12
I doubt you will get sound out of it either unless you attach external speakers.
#13
Well I guess it will make a good neighbour beating photo frame ;)
#14
Do people just vote cold because they are ignorant, or is there a better reason? You would really struggle to find better elsewhere for the same money, even if Boffer/ BigOffers are not the best company in the world.

You said it :giggle:

Other than needing to wall mount it, this would be ideal for someone like myself who has Virgin so it doesn't need a tuner (and I've had thought a large number of people have cable/satelite nowadays), and always pipes the sound through the hi-fi. Voting hot!
#17
Any self respecting enthusiast would have some sort of set-top box or a HTPC, as well as a decent set of speakers, so not quite sure why the lack of a built in tuner or speakers is an issue. I have never used either on my hdtv.

They would probably also want more than1 HDMI input and full 1080p resolution though.

Still a good price if this suits your needs.

The fact that Lauren talks to you like you are a deal sucking idiot annoys me, hence I always vote cold. That and the CS sucks ;)

I got the email, and will still not touch them again, who ever run it still.
#23
wouldn't this be better marketed as a 32'' PC screen for £189.99??:?

Easy audio and video streaming with content-rich video and graphics
Connect multiple units together for even easier cabling and installation with loop through RJ-45 connections. Dual USB ports, integrated 40GB hard-drive and Compact Flash slot for loading content locally

Sounds interesting!
