This is an excellent price for this excellent monitor. Viewsonic are a brilliant make...

As to the cold voters, please leave a brief note as to why you click cold - you won't be penilised or picked on, but it would be nice to have a bit of a discussion.

Excellent price and excellent monitor. Always hear good things about Viewsonic, also to think not long ago a 17" cost £250. Why does it seem every new product that comes on in the afternoon, that ends up being a hot deal, gets a cold rating of -5 to -10. Me thinks there may be outsides trying to put people off.

Also worth to note, this monitor has a DVI connection.

We can monitor the votes genkgenk, so if there are any problems like that we can suss them out.

I got my 17" viewsonic at Christmas - and yes, it cost about £230 - so this is a really amazing price for a 19"!

The DVI connection is a "must" nowadays I think :)

That's cool about the monitoring. Just a shame that would be bargains get an ice cold rating within minutes. I paid £230 for my monitor last January and now look at the prices. Might be time to upgrade me thinks! DVI is a must yes, though you know someone will ask if it's VGA/DVI as PC World like to miss out these things.

My 17" viewsonic monitor has been brilliant , this 19" one looks very good.

DVI is an absolute must, most pc's now have DVI out and it does look better than VGA.

On Viewsonics website i can`t see where it says DVi can someone please advise .

I had a 21" viewsonic crt many years ago and i know that it was a Sony Tube used as you could see 2 2 faint grid lines across the screen so i wonder who`s panels Viewsonic use ?

Good spot... just a word of caution... if memory serves me correctly, I believe there are two versions of this monitor... both with model number VA1912W

One DOES have DVI and the other DOESN'T... can't see on the PC World website which this is, so just tread carefully... this is only a particularly good price if it's the DVI version. :geek:

My 17" Viewsonic is about 4 years old and still perfect no dead pixels etc. Dread to think what the cost was back then...

Yeah, I noticed the VA1912W"B" version on the site which has DVI, though surfing on Google, it seems most sites report this model has DVI. If possible, pop down to PC World and have a look.
