I had a Viewsonic 19" TFT for years, well built and picture quality was nice too. Never developed any faults or dead pixels. Only replaced it as I wanted a bigger screen. Now my parents are happily using it.

Not seen this model before, but going by previous products I'd say this was a good buy.

It's a monitor so it would not have scarts. Spec in link above shows it only has RGB input which suggests it is fairly old stock. Not a bad price if you don't want DVI.

Hello, has this expired? The link does not seem to work. Is it in-stire only? Thanks

I have this monitor... it is not bad but cannot compare to the latest monitors... viewing angle, brightness and colours are not as good

Note: using this as a secondary monitor

strange i have that monitor - VA1912w (it says on the top of the screen right now)

although mines is only 500:1 contrast and 8ms response. Mines also have a dvi and vga input...

I think this one is just newer but mine has the exact model name and also looks exactly the same...

Well mines is an excellent monitor nethertheless. No dead pixels or anything, working perfect :-D

Just one thing though... im pretty sure there is better spec'd montiors around for about £100

At this price level there seem to be many around with a 3 year warranty.

I'm just looking for a new monitor at the moment. Not much of an expert though. The best I've found so far seems to be http://www.ebuyer.com:80/product/128714/show_product_overview# Does anyone know of anything better for a similair price?

Cheers!

This one has 3 years warranty too. I'm really pleased with it so far, but I have just upgraded from a Phillips 17" CRT.

haha, I have the DVI version of this monitor, paid nearly 200notes for it a year or so ago, fantastic monitor, has been lunged about between university and home and no problems to report, every pixel where it should be. Voted hot.

This viewsonic will be a better montor that that.

This is an old model, but viewsonic are one of the top rated monitor badges to have.
