NO DVI ON THIS (just "One Analogue Input")
I've not worked out how to add them yet.
This is the cheapest 1680x1050 monitor ive ever seen.
It's a hotty
The HP one is still available. :-D
As a general rule, built-in speakers produce low quality sound. If you plan on doing any serious gaming or watching dvds on it I'd recommend sticking with stand-alone speakers.
As for saving electricity, speakers don't use much power anyway. The power rating of a set of speakers isn't the power they are using the whole time they are switched on you know, its just the maximum output, i.e. when are are making sound at their loudest. The electricity they use depends on how loud you play sound through them.
IMO, if those are the only two points that are stopping you buying this then...dont hesitate...buy it!
What's stopping me buying this is the lack of a DVI input.
After extensive testing and others opinions I have found the difference between a VGA optimised display and a display with both DVI and VGA to be so minimal, even experts would have a hard time seeing the difference. If you use VGA from a screen that has both DVI & VGA and compare it to a VGA only, you will see the latter performing far, far better i.e. DVI quality. Too many people see this subjectively than for what it really is.
PS is the it247 one above an even better buy then?
Tried it247.com, but what an terrible site to use! Think I'll keep looking for the one I want. I need a black monitor with speakers and dvi.
the pic is for illustration only and is of the va2012wb model.
Thanks

No, it only has single input. VGA.
You can get a VGA cable for the XBOX 360.
