£128 inc VAT and shipping. 99 very misleading as it isnt a business forum.

NO DVI ON THIS (just "One Analogue Input")

Cheers for the Piccy seancambell :-)

I've not worked out how to add them yet.

This is the cheapest 1680x1050 monitor ive ever seen.

To be fair the headline price is a WOW but even after adding the VAT and carriage it's a good price in my book.

It's a hotty

VERY good price! Voted hot.

sorry guys i didnt check what the carriage cost was as there are nomally a few choices with companies and it can depend on where you live so i left it off.

I'm tempted by this monitor, but really looking for one with built in speakers so that I can ditch the stand-alone ones and save electricity. I missed out on the 20" HP one few weeks back. Anyone have a pointer for one around £150 mark?

Flippin eck, That's cheap. Nice find.

As a general rule, built-in speakers produce low quality sound. If you plan on doing any serious gaming or watching dvds on it I'd recommend sticking with stand-alone speakers.

As for saving electricity, speakers don't use much power anyway. The power rating of a set of speakers isn't the power they are using the whole time they are switched on you know, its just the maximum output, i.e. when are are making sound at their loudest. The electricity they use depends on how loud you play sound through them.

IMO, if those are the only two points that are stopping you buying this then...dont hesitate...buy it!

What's stopping me buying this is the lack of a DVI input.

After extensive testing and others opinions I have found the difference between a VGA optimised display and a display with both DVI and VGA to be so minimal, even experts would have a hard time seeing the difference. If you use VGA from a screen that has both DVI & VGA and compare it to a VGA only, you will see the latter performing far, far better i.e. DVI quality. Too many people see this subjectively than for what it really is.

Help pls. Not a techie. Is this a good buy purely as a computer monitor. Not used for gaming although do watch the occassional video. Like the widescreen. More importantly is is easy to install and do I need any extras? Thanks
PS is the it247 one above an even better buy then?

Tried it247.com, but what an terrible site to use! Think I'll keep looking for the one I want. I need a black monitor with speakers and dvi.
bigup#15
note, after reading the Ocuk forums, it seems that the actual monitor you get is a silver one. SO double check if you were after a black monitor.

the pic is for illustration only and is of the va2012wb model.

I presume you can use an Xbox 360 with this screen? Also are you able to flick between the PC and Xbox like you can on the Dell large screens?

Thanks

Had a couple of bad experiences with Overclockers when returning faulty items. I.E. was told you return the item special delivery, and we'll refund the postage. This happened twice, and after dozens of phone calls and emails asking for the postage to be refunded, and being promised that it will be in my account by the end of the day, i'm still waiting. That was august '06.

No, it only has single input. VGA.
You can get a VGA cable for the XBOX 360.
