Why do people automatically think a cheap price = HOT DEAL GET IT ASAP. Why not spend that money on something you know you will like/enjoy?

when blurays are this cheap, you know it wont be good. look at that beowulf and grendel bluray - £4 or less for a year now and i bet hardly any copies have been sold in the entire uk.

Actually, this film is excellent. It's by the director of French horror Calvaire, Fabrice Du Welz, about a couple who lose their child in Thailand. It has echos of Don't Look Now, and amazing cinematography by Benoît Debie (who worked with Gaspar Noe on Irreversible/Enter the Void). Beautifully done with great performances.

I recommend it to intelligent film lovers.

ACTUALLY I am an intelligent film lover thankyou and this film is far from 'Intelligent', I found the whole thing tedious and frustrating with a weak plot and equally dissapointing ending.
I agree that the film does contain some good performances and ok imagery at times, but does not make it memorable or interesting.

Try it if you want, it is recommended by a pompus film student.

Thanks for the gibe, but I'm not a film student; I just prefer to articulate what I like about a film further than a facile "this film is good/rubbish" one liner. Things like director/cinematographer I care about - true film lovers do. As for whether people enjoy the film - well, that's subjective after all.
