Hardly entertainment, so here we are.

Feeling bloated and wheezy after winter?

These handy home weights will put the spring back in your step.

Now half price, was £20 (ok value), now £10 amazing value.

Also 5kg vinyl weight disc, was £5, now £2.50.

Larger stores only (eg Extra). Only one on shelf- the bulk deterred my purchase.

Big Bulky, Ugly and not man enough to last long enough. If your serious then go for iron cast plates.
In their defence, vinyl discs are quieter and don't 'clink'.

LoL, in reply back. You really cant add to many of these plates for dumbells. If you put some towels on the floor, this would reduce the sound of the impact that was given off.

No, I can't add many. Nor would I want to. Adding a couple of 5kg discs for another £5 would be plenty for me.

If you want to be an iron man, look elsewhere.
now now ladies, lets not get handbags out
tesco have the iron plates also at half price, they have been for months and months at the large shop in exeter
Well my local Tesco extra had Iron 5kg plates for a fiver. Also have had 20% off as well at times. So i would say that iron plates half price sale, must have been a local deal.

Also anythink more than a 5kg/7.5kg become to big to use on a dumbell bar.
vinyl discs weigh less
:D, haha vinyl discs weigh less, if its 5kg it doesn't matter if its vinyl, metal, wood or paper its the same weight, lol,
i use vinyl and cast iron weights for different movements, its purely personal choice!

bye the way heat added ;)
I just personal find that vinyl are alloy large for the same amount of weight as a cast. So if money is no object then you go for cast. Also over time vinyl will wear and split, where as cast might get chipped paint, thats about it.
On these barbells you can fit 2x5kg+2.5kg on each end making each 25kg, plenty, lol. Cost, £5 + £10 each. Obviously cost/weight ratio improves the more you spend. These offer cheap startup set and room for expansion.
