This has been available for a while now. Definitely worth it in my case as I don't use a home landline any more.
#2
It's supposedly only for existing Virgin customers; they don't seem to check however...
#3
is this was 0844 I would be all over this
#4
will this include those numbers from the money saving experts international call checker?

Why I'm getting broken link? Really interested on this deal. I'm using iphone to Go To Deal but getting nowhere! Any ideas. Thanks
#6
Its worth noting that the terms state you can't use VOIP which is pretty crappy.
#7
Link works fine for me on iphone
#8
Thanks it's working now I have turn off ads-blocker. My idevice is jailbreaken. Guys please advise me, when I try to purchase this deal. It's said you have to be existing Virgin customer to get the deal or cancel it and select standard deal. Will it effect me if I lie to get the contract?

I don't think any provider has free 0844..
#11
No call forwarding either so forget HulloMail.

I swapped the family onto this last month. Ask friends and family in your area what their signal strength is before swapping. Mine is crap in my house, most of Southampton, Winchester and the New Forest (but then almost every network is) but Ok up in Surrey. Like the old days of Orange and 3 it's great if you are in a good signal area, if not it's as bad as Vodafone.

they use the ee signal

And that's not what it used to be. Combine 2 companies then start shutting off overlapping transmitters. WTF. Brilliant idea that, more customers less infrastructure that'll work........

the small print: "You should expect speeds delivered up to 384kbps (3G), actual speeds experienced may be higher or lower and will vary by device and location. You cannot share your data connection with other devices - known as "Tethering" - or use your phone for peer to peer file sharing. Acceptable use policy applies"

So it isn't unlimited and 384Kbps is slow. What is the donwload limit?

one man's crap is another man's good.

I was with Three and in the last 6 months it went rubbish, so I moved to Virgin on the VIP plan.

I've never looked backed.

I've not lost signal even in places I would normally do.

So, as I said.... Swings and roundabouts.

I agree about Three. Before they started messing around with 4G I had fantasic reception strength and amazing d/l speeds. Now, the signal strength is rubbish and the d/l speeds are pathetic. Not sure what has gone so drastically wrong at Three? I need to get out and get a new provider asap.

Even my Son, who is on Three, has been complaining about it for months, but he is still in contract. We even got a "home signal" thing, which was next to useless. Just today, we've had a replacement Home Signal unit sent to us. I await to see with baited breath, how well that works.

How do they know if you tethering on the phone.

You could use your phone as a wifi hit spot.
