also remember if you are a virginmedia customer you also get unlimited virgin to virgin calls with the above.

Also calls to virgin mobiles from virgin landlines are included in your allowance (so if you get free weekends you get free calls to virgin mobiles all weekend etc)

After switching from 02 to Virgin, I am quite happy and this is a good deal. However signal around Dorset is pretty poor fyi

thats why 12 months or more contact deals are poor unless you know the service your gonna receive is good,av been tempted a few times with the 3 network deals but av been put offf with there apparently non existent customer service so when you have signed they have got you

Thinking of going back to Virgin after finding Vodafone poor for signal at work and was looking at this offer and I was wondering if this would qualify for the £50 Quidco / topcashback?
Then this would make it £76 for the year or 6.33 a month if it all tracked.

That's great

If someone could let us know if the £50 quidco works with this offer, that would be brill

Thanks

Cant see no mention of £50 for a sim only deal, its for a phone contract sale.

i think quidco said no cashback on sim only deals....

Virgin: 12 month, 400 minutes, unltd texts, 1gb internet.

Tesco: Monthly, 500 minutes, unltd texts, 500mb internet.

I think Tesco shades it?

The £12 deal is ace though for those who don't need internet. Tesco do a similar one for £6 monthly flat though with 100 minutes.

Don't forget that the Virgin signal strength will only get better over the next 12 months. They piggyback off T-Mobile who merged with Orange last year and over the next 12 months the Orange network will be opened up to T-Mobile and will end up with the best coverage in the UK

Great Deal. Im currently paying £10 for 100 text and 100 mins, plus its a 18 month contract. Heat added.

Just being pedantic here .. Virgin Mobile have no mobile network, and don't piggyback off of T-Mobile. All they do is resell the T-Mobile product under their own identity.

The T-Mobile / Orange UK network integration shouldn't take too long now. The Virgin Media side of the integration is ahead of schedule.

My experience with Virgin Mobile has been terrible - I have moved to Vodafone after 2 years of misery! The price was good when I joined so I put up with poor signal, but other providers are offering deals just as good.

I also have had lots of problems recently with my direct debit not being collected, so they cancel my contract. Their fault but it kept happening again and again. I think they have been revamping thier systems recently and are having issues.

I was on O2 for many years, and moved to Virgin over 12 months ago, I am very dissapointed with the reception, it is very poor indeed in my area. I hope the Orange integration happens soon, or I`m off when the 18 month contract ends.

Isn't the £15 contract on voda a better option (after cashback). Works out at just under £6/month for 600mins and unlimited texts.

Because your post is factually incorrect.

not really, piggybacking on the network is the correct term. obviously not for someone with such high standards as yourself though. have you noticed the sun shining today?

Hi everyone, it's worth pointing out that Virgin now charge 12p/min for voicemail on contracts since 21st July. If you screen private numbers like I do this could prove quite costly as I don't think they let you take it out of your standard minutes. I'm assuming Virgin are able to offer such "hot deals" knowing they'll be benefiting from increase in voicemail fees!! Scandalous
#22
only on new contracts, if you have an existing contract where voicemail was free it's still free.
